All things considered, it’s a pretty good offseason for the Cubs to be seeking pitching from outside the organization, and we pick that a part a bit as the podcast goes on. We also get into the Phil Maton signing and what else the Cubs might do in the bullpen, including some internal options. After the break, in our transaction corner, Brett and I talk about Rob Refsnyder, a guy who was recently connected to the Cubs via Ken Rosenthal. Brett’s not quite as convinced of the fit as I am.
