**Utica Woman Accused of Stealing Over $57,000 from Dental Office**
Utica, N.Y. — A woman who worked at a local dental office is accused of stealing more than $57,000 in patient payments by depositing the money into her personal checking account, police said.
In November 2025, a dentist in Utica reported to police that one of his employees might have been diverting payments made to the office into a personal bank account, according to a news release from the Utica Police Department issued Tuesday.
Following subpoenas and a thorough review of bank records, investigators determined that the suspect had indeed deposited over $57,000 into her personal accounts.
Siden Lieu, 35, of Clinton, turned herself in Tuesday morning. She was charged with second-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records.
