MANILA, Philippines — Maynilad Water Services, Inc. has begun treating wastewater from three barangays in Muntinlupa City with the activation of its Cupang Water Reclamation Facility.
The project, which cost P1.6 billion, has a capacity to treat 46 million liters per day (MLD). It processes wastewater from Barangays Alabang, Cupang, and Bayanan.
