Donald Glover Inducts Outkast Into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Donald Glover delivered a special introduction to Atlanta rap pioneers OutKast during their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction. For the performance segment of the iconic Southern duo’s induction, Tyler, the Creator, Doja Cat, J. I. D., and Janelle Monáe joined Big Boi on stage to perform a medley of the group’s biggest hits, including “Ms. Jackson,” “B.O.B (Bombs Over Baghdad),” and “Hey Ya.”

Earlier this year, it was announced that the former duo—comprised of André 3000 and Big Boi—would be inducted into the 2025 Rock Hall class, alongside other notable artists such as Salt-N-Pepa, The White Stripes, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, and more.

To commemorate OutKast’s entry into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, GAS released official OutKast trading cards available exclusively on Complex.

OutKast’s discography includes six studio albums, starting in 1994 with *Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik*, followed by *ATLiens* in 1996, and *Aquemini* in 1998. Their last album was the 2006 *Idlewild* soundtrack. Over the past decade, the duo has reunited on several occasions for live performances. Notably, 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of their landmark album *Stankonia*.

Since 2010, Big Boi has steadily released solo and collaborative albums, while André 3000 has contributed occasional rap verses to albums by artists such as Kanye West and A Tribe Called Quest. In 2023, André released his debut instrumental album, *New Blue Sun*.
