Injury update: Latest news on New York Jets WR Garrett Wilson

The New York Jets will be without their top playmaker for at least the next four games. The Jets (2-8) have placed wide receiver Garrett Wilson on injured reserve due to a knee injury.

Wilson did not play in New York’s 27-14 loss to the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football. That game will count as one of the minimum four games Wilson must sit out while on IR.

The wide receiver aggravated his knee injury against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10. He left the game and did not return.

Wilson is the team’s leader in receptions (36), receiving yards (395), and receiving touchdowns (four). His absence will be a significant blow to the Jets’ offense.

Jets Wire will continue to provide updates on Wilson’s status throughout the 2025 season.

Emeka Egbuka’s sixth TD of the season gives Bucs 7-0 lead

The Buccaneers are off to a strong start at home against the Patriots. Quarterback Baker Mayfield threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Emeka Egbuka, giving Tampa Bay an early 7-0 lead. This score capped a quick six-play, 65-yard drive that energized the team and the home crowd.

Earlier in the drive, Mayfield and Egbuka connected on a crucial 24-yard gain that moved the Bucs into New England territory. Egbuka continues to impress this season and now leads all rookie receivers with six receiving touchdowns.

Despite dealing with a hamstring injury recently, the No. 19 overall pick appears healthy and ready to contribute on the field this Sunday.

Lamar Jackson’s third TD pass gives Ravens a 21-6 lead

The Ravens struggled in the first half, gaining only 110 yards. However, they came out strong in the second half, racking up 68 yards on their opening drive. Baltimore now leads 21-6.

Lamar Jackson connected with tight end Charlie Kolar for a 3-yard touchdown pass. This marks Jackson’s third touchdown pass of the game, with his first two going to tight end Mark Andrews for gains of 2 and 20 yards.

Jackson, who is playing his first game since Week 4, is completing 15 of 19 passes for 136 yards and three touchdowns. He has also contributed on the ground with two carries for 13 yards.

Jonathan Taylor’s third touchdown gives Colts 38-7 lead

Once again, Jonathan Taylor has delivered a standout performance by scoring three touchdowns in a single game. However, this time, Taylor’s third touchdown came through the air. He caught a pop pass from Daniel Jones and took it 19 yards to the end zone, extending the Colts’ lead to 38-7 early in the fourth quarter.

This marks the fourth time this season that Taylor has registered three touchdowns in a game. Remarkably, it’s the second week in a row and the third time in the last four contests that he has achieved this feat. Additionally, it’s the first time in 2025 that Taylor has recorded at least one rushing and one receiving touchdown in the same game.

According to the CBS broadcast, this is also a rare accomplishment: it’s the first time a player has scored at least three touchdowns against the same opponent in three consecutive games.

Taylor’s stats for the day are impressive—he has 12 carries for 135 yards with two rushing touchdowns, plus two catches for 21 yards and one receiving score. With the Colts leading by 31 points, Taylor’s workload for the day may be complete.

If so, it has been another strong performance that keeps him on track to be this year’s Offensive Player of the Year.
