Texas football wide receiver Parker Livingstone had to be helped off the field during the Longhorns’ road game against Florida after sustaining an apparent leg injury.
The injury occurred in the second quarter at the conclusion of a 33-yard reception on a second-and-8 play. After catching the pass, Livingstone took a hit to his leg from Florida defensive back Devin Moore. He immediately flipped in the air upon contact and was visibly in pain.
Several Longhorns trainers assisted Livingstone off the field and back to the bench. Once there, he appeared to be limping and showed signs of discomfort.
Before exiting, Livingstone had made his second catch of the game, a reception of at least 14 yards. He currently leads all Texas receivers with two catches for 47 yards, as Texas trails Florida 19-7 in the second quarter.
### Parker Livingstone Injury Update
Livingstone’s leg injury happened near his kneecap area as he made the impressive 33-yard catch downfield. The hit from the Florida defender was significant enough to cause him to flip in the air and forced his early departure from the game.
The Texas medical staff promptly attended to him on the field and helped him back to the sidelines for further evaluation. His status remains uncertain as this story is still developing.
Stay tuned for updates on Parker Livingstone’s condition as more information becomes available.
