Report: Jets rejected Chiefs trade offer for RB Breece Hall

The New York Jets made several high-profile trades this week, sending players elsewhere in exchange for significant future assets. However, there was at least one deal that the team apparently decided not to pursue.

According to Nate Taylor of ESPN, the Jets turned down an offer from the Kansas City Chiefs for running back Breece Hall. The Chiefs were reportedly willing to trade a 2026 fourth-round pick in exchange for Hall, but New York was seeking a higher return—a third-round selection.

Although Hall was reportedly willing to be moved following the trades of cornerback Sauce Gardner and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, the Chiefs and Jets could not come to an agreement. As a result, Hall remains with the Jets.

From the Chiefs’ perspective, a third-round pick in 2026 with contractual control for four years was deemed more valuable than acquiring Hall for eight games and a potential postseason run. Kansas City’s starting running back, Isiah Pacheco, is currently sidelined with an MCL sprain. However, the team remains optimistic that he will be able to return after their Week 10 bye.

In the meantime, the Chiefs have turned to Kareem Hunt and Brashard Smith to fill the running back role. Elijah Mitchell is still on the 53-man roster, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire remains on the practice squad.

As for Hall, he has rushed for 581 yards with two touchdowns this season, averaging an impressive 5.0 yards per carry. He has also contributed as a receiver, catching 21 passes for 178 yards.

Path of Exile: Kinetic Blast Elementalist build guide (3.27)

Kinetic Blast Elementalist Build Guide – Path of Exile 3.27

Kinetic Blast is one of the strongest starter skills in the Path of Exile Keepers of the Flame update. If you enjoy clearing out large portions of the map from a distance, this build is an excellent choice in the latest patch. It excels in AoE damage while keeping mana costs minimal, allowing you to stack various buffs efficiently.

Ascendancy and Class Choice

The build benefits greatly from choosing the Witch class, as she gains access to Kinetic Blast earlier than other classes. Additionally, the Elementalist ascendancy remains very powerful despite recent nerfs—especially due to the strong golems it can summon. Elementalist’s specialization in elemental damage makes it a perfect match for this build.

Pros and Cons of Kinetic Blast Elementalist in Path of Exile 3.27

Like any build, Kinetic Blast Elementalist has its strengths and weaknesses. However, it’s proven to be strong enough to carry players through to the late endgame.

  • Pros:
    • Incredible AoE clear speed
    • Good single-target damage
    • Fast map clearing and movement
  • Cons:
    • Squishy during the campaign
    • Requires an early leveling skill before transitioning to Kinetic Blast

How to Play Kinetic Blast Elementalist in Path of Exile 3.27

Kinetic Blast becomes available to the Witch after completing the “Sever the Right Hand” quest in Act 3. For other classes, you need to complete the “A Fixture of Fate” quest and unlock the NPC Siosa. Prior to unlocking Kinetic Blast, you should use alternative skills to level up effectively.

The damage setup for Kinetic Bolt also applies to Kinetic Blast, which allows a smooth and natural transition once you unlock it.

Kinetic Blast fires a projectile that causes multiple AoE explosions on impact. To increase its power, this build incorporates several Herald skills and summoned golems. When ready, summon one of each golem and start launching Kinetic Blast projectiles toward enemies. The AoE explosions deal significant damage and can apply various elemental ailments.

If mobs become overwhelming, deploy a few totems that shoot Kinetic Bolts, enhancing your mobbing ability further.

For boss encounters, maintain a similar strategy but remember to apply Assassin’s Mark to the enemy to increase damage against rare and unique monsters.

Ideal Skill Gem Setup for Kinetic Blast Elementalist

  • Kinetic Blast: Added Lightning Damage – Fork – Sacred Wisp – Volatility
  • Kinetic Bolt (for totems): Ballista Totem – Added Lightning Damage – Faster Attacks
  • Golems: Ice Golem, Lightning Golem, Flame Golem
  • Heralds: Herald of Thunder, Herald of Ice
  • Assassin’s Mark Setup: Mark on Hit, Clarity, Haste

For even better mob clearing, you can add Barrage Support to Kinetic Blast, which improves the AoE aspect of your damage.

Regarding mana management, using Clarity alongside a Lightning Golem should provide enough mana regeneration. Be sure to stack as much mana as possible to maintain all your reservation-based skills active simultaneously.

Passive Tree and Ascendancy Recommendations

Begin by taking nodes on the left side of the tree, focusing on spell damage until you reach Arcanist’s Domain. From there, move right toward Practical Application and then continue to Wandslinger and Prodigal Perfection—these offer a significant damage boost.

The Wand Mastery notable is especially beneficial for adding an extra projectile, helping throughout the campaign and early endgame. You can keep it even after adding Barrage Support or reassign the passive point later if needed.

The screenshot above (not included here) displays what the passive tree typically looks like around level 60. After that, you should focus on stacking elemental damage, life, and energy shield for survivability.

Once you unlock the Elementalist ascendancy, allocate points as follows:

  • Liege of the Primordial: Grants +2 to max summoned golems
  • Golem Commander: Improves buffs from your golems
  • Shaper of Flames: Take advantage of 100% increased damage against ignited enemies with Fire Mastery
  • Shaper of Winter and Shaper of Storm: Enhance elemental ailments and overall elemental damage

Gear Setup for Kinetic Blast Elementalist – Path of Exile 3.27

Gear selection is crucial for this build. Although your skill mana cost is not very high, you need enough mana to keep multiple buffs and heralds active.

Here are the ideal affixes and priorities when choosing gear:

  • Defenses: Focus on capping resistances first, especially elemental resistances, to reduce incoming damage.
  • Life: Stack as much flat life as possible to improve survivability.
  • Damage: Prioritize affixes that increase elemental damage and spell damage.
  • Attributes: This build relies heavily on Strength and Dexterity; therefore, seek gear with Citrine Amulet or other modifiers that improve these attributes.

Because this isn’t Path of Exile 2, where you can swap attributes freely, it’s important to choose gear that supports your attribute needs.

Additional Related Guides

With this comprehensive setup, you should find Kinetic Blast Elementalist a powerful and enjoyable build to carry you through Path of Exile 3.27!

Gootloader malware returns with fake NDA scam – here’s what we know

**Gootloader Malware Campaign: A Resurgence with New Obfuscation Techniques**

Gootloader is notorious for leveraging malvertising and SEO poisoning to distribute malware. Cybercriminals behind this campaign either create websites from scratch or infiltrate legitimate ones, modifying them to host various documents, such as NDA templates. To increase visibility, they purchase ads on popular ad networks or use SEO poisoning by generating numerous web articles packed with keywords that link back to the sites they control.

According to analysts from Huntress Labs, hundreds of websites have been seen hosting the malware. The combination of these tactics ensures that when users search for specific terms, these malicious sites appear at the very top of search engine results—often overtaking legitimate pages. This tactic significantly raises the likelihood of users unknowingly compromising their systems.

### Obfuscation Techniques

The Gootloader campaign was effectively halted in March 2025, following persistent efforts from security researchers who pressured ISPs and hosting platforms to take down the attackers’ infrastructure. However, after a six-month hiatus, Gootloader has made a comeback, employing the same distribution techniques to deploy its loader. This loader then delivers various payloads, such as ransomware, infostealers, or Cobalt Strike beacons.

The most notable change in the new campaign is the introduction of sophisticated obfuscation methods. Researchers revealed that attackers are now using JavaScript combined with a special web font to conceal the real file names of the malware. This font replaces characters with visually similar symbols, making the HTML source look like gibberish, while the rendered webpage displays normal words.

Huntress Labs explained, “Rather than using OpenType substitution features or character mapping tables, the loader swaps what each glyph actually displays. The font’s metadata appears completely legitimate—the character ‘O’ maps to a glyph named ‘O’, the character ‘a’ maps to a glyph named ‘a’, and so forth.”

However, the actual vector paths defining these glyphs have been swapped. For example, when the browser requests the shape for the glyph ‘O’, the font renders the letter ‘F’ instead. Similarly, the glyph for ‘a’ draws ‘l’, ‘9’ draws ‘o’, and special Unicode characters like ‘±’ draw ‘i’. This means a string of gibberish such as “Oa9Z±h•” in the source code is rendered as the word “Florida” on-screen.

This clever obfuscation technique complicates analysis and detection, making it easier for attackers to evade traditional security mechanisms.

MEXC launches AI candlestick chart assistant to support trading analysis

MEXC Exchange has launched Smart Candles, an AI-powered tool designed to enhance trading analysis. This innovative feature analyzes candlestick charts, highlights key support and resistance levels, quantifies the impact of news, and even projects probabilities of future price movements. The introduction of Smart Candles reflects a broader trend within the crypto industry, where more platforms are adopting AI-driven tools to assist traders.

The launch of Smart Candles comes amid a growing wave of platforms integrating artificial intelligence into their trading and analysis features. Earlier this year, Bitget unveiled its GetAgent AI tool, which performs multi-timeframe technical analysis, identifies important levels, and incorporates news events to suggest potential trading opportunities.

Similarly, Binance recently announced its AI Token Report, a feature that automatically aggregates market data, on-chain metrics, news, and sentiment analysis. This tool provides hourly, token-specific trading insights directly within the app or on the website, empowering traders with timely information.

Other major exchanges are also exploring AI-based trading tools. Bybit, for example, introduced TradeGPT—an AI assistant and large-language-model system capable of answering users’ questions and providing technical indicator analyses. Meanwhile, Kraken has announced plans to integrate Capitalise.ai’s natural-language trading automation into its Pro platform later this year. Once live, users will be able to design, backtest, and automate trades across both crypto and traditional finance markets without needing to write any code.

These developments highlight a significant shift towards AI-enabled trading tools in the crypto industry, aimed at making market analysis more accessible, efficient, and insightful for traders of all levels.

7 Biggest Cryptocurrency Traders Absolutely Destroyed: Does High Leverage Trading Equal Gambling?

In the world of trading, high-leverage strategies are often promoted as a quick route to multiplying gains without the need to increase skill. The allure of turning a small investment into a substantial profit can be tempting. However, data from LookOnChain tells a very different story.

Seven traders, each boasting profits ranging from tens of millions to over 80 million, appeared unstoppable—until leverage brought them down. The common force that destroyed them was leverage itself.

### Understanding Leverage in Trading

Leverage amplifies everything: your victories, your losses, the emotions that come with trading, and even your sense of control. When a trader uses 50x or 100x leverage, they are essentially wagering that their predictions will always be correct in the immediate future. But in the cryptocurrency market, where prices can change drastically with minor fluctuations, a single small price movement can liquidate an entire position.

This dynamic turns analysis, trading, risk management, and portfolio management into something resembling a casino game. The parallels with gambling are striking.

### The Gambling Paradox in High-Leverage Trading

Like gamblers, traders convince themselves they’ve discovered patterns. After a few wins, they increase their stakes, confusing luck for skill. These initial successes serve as bait rather than proof of expertise. With each win, overconfidence grows until traders risk everything on borrowed money.

Trading shares similar psychological pitfalls with casinos even without leverage: the illusion of opportunity disguised as chance, emotional highs overriding logic. Leverage, however, transforms these human vulnerabilities into a potential explosive risk.

### Why Skilled Traders Still Get Burned

The traders featured in the charts were not novices; they were seasoned market players managing millions, occasionally enjoying remarkable success. But leverage does not care about skill or previous wins. It operates on mathematical certainty: if you keep gambling borrowed money long enough, one unexpected event—a “black swan”—will wipe out everything.

In fact, high-leverage trading not only increases market exposure but also guarantees eventual disaster for those who are not exceptionally cautious.

### Who’s Really Winning?

Platforms like HyperLiquid and Binance are not the “house” in this scenario—they neither win nor lose. Instead, the real adversary is market volatility. It is this volatility that, if not managed carefully, turns profits into dust.

In summary, while high-leverage trading may look like an easy path to rapid financial gain, it carries enormous risk. Leverage magnifies every aspect of trading, turning it into a high-stakes gamble. No matter your experience or past success, the dangers of leverage remain constant and unforgiving. Approach with caution—and respect the risks involved.
