iPhone Air Faces Condensation Complaints As Early Users Report Foggy Patches Inside Camera Lens After Just One Day

Just a day after hitting the shelves, the new iPhone Air is already facing complaints from early adopters about condensation forming inside the camera lens. Reports on Reddit and Twitter have surfaced, showing photos of fogged-up lenses. This raises questions about whether Apple’s ultra-thin iPhone can withstand real-world conditions.

### Early iPhone Air Buyers Report Condensation Inside Camera Lens

The problem appears sporadically, with some users noticing foggy patches inside the camera lens after sudden changes in temperature or exposure to humid environments. While condensation inside smartphone cameras is not a new issue, it is surprising to see it occurring in a premium iPhone model—especially since Apple emphasized design refinements aimed at improving durability.

YouTuber Luke Miani shared an image on X (formerly Twitter), stating that his brand-new, day-one iPhone Air had condensation inside the camera. Another user on X, known as Dongle, also posted several images and commented, “My iPhone Air has condensation in the camera… maybe this is widespread.”

There was also a Reddit post featuring a similar experience, though the user later deleted the image. From available reports, it seems multiple early users have encountered the same issue.

### Potential Cause and Concerns

It remains to be seen if this problem is widespread. If confirmed, it could fuel criticism that Apple may have gone too far with the design in pursuit of extreme thinness. Even if the condensation inside the camera lens disappears on its own, the issue might tarnish the iPhone Air’s reputation among early adopters.

Some users speculate the problem may stem from reduced internal sealing or differences in thermal dissipation compared to the iPhone 17 Pro models, which feature a dedicated thermal management solution.

### What to Do If You Experience Camera Lens Condensation

If your iPhone Air’s camera lens is fogged up with condensation, it is advisable to:

– Keep the phone at room temperature for extended periods, allowing the water droplets to evaporate naturally.
– Store or use the iPhone in dry environments.
– Avoid sudden temperature shifts between hot and cold settings to reduce the chance of condensation reoccurring.

Apple has previously acknowledged that condensation inside the camera lens is not normal and could potentially lead to long-term hardware damage.

### Final Thoughts

It is still too early to declare this a widespread flaw, so we will wait for more reports before drawing any firm conclusions. For now, follow Apple’s advice to let the device dry naturally. If the condensation persists, you should contact Apple Support for assistance.

Trump administration again asks Supreme Court to lift block on ending TPS for Venezuelans

Americans’ grocery bills are growing, causing some shoppers to cut back on discretionary spending as they struggle to afford the basics. Food prices grew by half a percent from July to August, marking the fastest monthly rate of change since the fall of 2022.

Behind the rising cost of food items on store shelves are three main culprits, according to experts: tariffs from the Trump administration, climate change, and a shortage of agricultural workers in the U.S.

**The Impact of Tariffs**

Phil Lempert, a food industry analyst known as the “Supermarket Guru,” told CBS News correspondent Jo Ling Kent that the Trump administration’s wide-ranging tariffs are a leading cause of grocery inflation. Price hikes have been steepest on goods that the U.S. imports from nations facing higher levies. For example, the U.S. imports about 35% of its coffee from Brazil, whose exports are taxed at a rate of 50%. The latest Consumer Price Index data shows that coffee prices rose 21% in August compared with a year ago.

As companies face rising costs, they often pass those burdens onto consumers. In the case of tariffs, some businesses began raising prices on products even before the levies were fully in place.

“There’s no question that what we’ve seen is companies increasing prices because of the impending tariffs,” Lempert said. “What they want to do is protect themselves. A lot of these big food companies are public companies, so they have to report back to their shareholders on profit margins. They’ve been hedging their bets.”

Sometimes, packaged-goods companies disguise price hikes by offering consumers less product for the same amount of money. This covert inflation strategy is known as “shrinkflation,” Lempert explained:
“What they’re doing is putting less in the package, hoping that you and I won’t notice and will keep paying the same price or just a slightly increased price.”

**Climate Change’s Role**

Increasing temperatures and shifting weather patterns have made conditions for growing some fruits and vegetables in the U.S. inhospitable. As a result, much of domestic production has moved to Central and Latin America.

“We can’t grow our food where we used to grow it,” Lempert said.

**Labor Shortage in Agriculture**

Additionally, Trump-era immigration policies—including workplace raids targeting large numbers of immigrant workers—combined with waning interest in agricultural labor, have led to an industry-wide shortage.

**How Consumers Are Responding**

Consumers are reacting to higher prices by looking for deals, purchasing store-brand goods instead of name brands, and buying shelf-stable groceries in bulk at shopping clubs like Costco.

Lempert emphasized that a little planning can go a long way to help consumers buy what they need without overspending.

“The number one thing people want to do if they want to save money is stop wasting food,” Lempert said. “Forty percent of all the food in this country is wasted, and a lot of that happens in our homes. So take doggy bags from restaurants, use leftovers, freeze leftovers, and don’t waste food—you’ll save a substantial amount of money.”

EXCLUSIVE: ‘Dishonest’ Trump Keeping Information From UK Prime Minister During Meeting, Body Language Expert Claims… as Prez Signs Massive $350B Tech Deal

**Donald Trump and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer Sign $350 Billion Technology Deal Amid Speculation**

*Published: September 19, 2025, 2:45 p.m. ET*

Donald Trump and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer may have finalized a monumental $350 billion deal this week, but according to a body language expert, the U.S. president could be withholding critical information.

On Thursday, September 18, President Trump signed a joint memorandum of understanding that authorizes multi-billion dollar investments in sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), civil nuclear energy, and quantum computing.

### Details of the Deal

During a press conference, Trump and Starmer announced the **Technology Prosperity Deal**, touting it as a significant win for both nations that could create up to 17,500 new jobs across the United States and the United Kingdom.

“This trip has galvanized $350 billion in deals across many sectors, and we’re committed to ensuring that the UK is a secure and reliable supply of the best AI, hardware, and software on Earth, and we supply that and make sure we supply it in quantity to the UK,” Trump remarked.

The 79-year-old president joked that it was “a better deal for you than us,” while praising Starmer’s negotiation skills.

Starmer referred to the agreement as “a good deal” and added, “It’s a blueprint to win this new era together, shape it according to our shared values, and seize the incredible opportunities that are on offer.”

### What’s Trump Hiding?

Despite the positive public exchanges, body language expert Inbaal Honigman observed a different dynamic, especially noting Trump’s hand gestures during the meeting.

“The President’s hands are close together, and he might be keeping his cards close to his chest, while the Prime Minister’s hands are wider apart, fingers splayed, which indicates sincerity and honesty,” Honigman told RadarOnline.com.

She continued, “As both are involved in creating a historic deal, there’s still a big advantage to the U.S. leader, as his body language suggests that he knows some stuff that his British counterpart doesn’t know.”

According to Honigman, Starmer “wasn’t sure what to expect” from their encounter and was “not confident the meeting would go well.”

### Are Trump’s Enemies Plotting?

Social media users have also expressed skepticism about Trump’s true motives with this massive agreement, with some branding it as “fake.”

One user questioned, “So, Trump wants the UK to get involved in AI for the US and turn it into a surveillance state to match the UK’s?”

Another added, “Great news… more fake deals.”

Some pointed out domestic priorities being overlooked, with one saying, “But not enough money for school lunches, Offender Registry, Sesame Street, or Environmental Cleanup. Priorities.”

While Trump appears to be fostering friendly relations with the UK, his global standing is far from secure. Reports suggest that China, Russia, and North Korea are covertly collaborating on a disturbing initiative to develop “biotech-fueled super soldiers” aimed at global domination.

### Secret Meeting of Authoritarian Leaders

Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong-un, and China’s Xi Jinping recently convened in Beijing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Japan’s World War II surrender. However, alongside celebratory events, the three dictators allegedly discussed plans to create “super soldiers.”

Sources claim the leaders were overheard on a hot mic discussing chilling topics, including harvesting human organs from political prisoners, advanced biotechnology, and medical transplants that could potentially allow soldiers and leaders to live—and fight—well beyond typical human lifespans, possibly for 150 years or more.

“In a few years, with the development of biotechnology, human organs can be constantly transplanted so that [people] can live younger and younger, and even become immortal,” Putin reportedly told Xi.

### Trump’s Response

It appears that Trump may have caught wind of these clandestine discussions. Historically active on his Truth Social platform, he wrote recently:

“May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration. Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against the United States of America.”

As the Technology Prosperity Deal moves forward, the world watches closely to see what this historic agreement truly entails — and what it might be hiding beneath the surface.

Docs On Movies: ‘Chain Reactions’ Honors ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ With Stephen King & Mike Figgis’ Close Up Of Coppola’s ‘Megalopolis’ – Specialty Preview

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Megalopolis get the documentary treatment, as does the inner world of Ye, in this end-of-summer indie weekend with a sprinkling of dramas and comedies.

Dark Sky Films opens *Chain Reactions* by Alexandre O. Philippe, an acclaimed documentary examining the profound impact and lasting influence of *The Texas Chainsaw Massacre*. The film features discussions with five artists: Stephen King, Patton Oswalt, Takashi Miike, Alexandra Heller-Nicholas, and Karyn Kusama. It debuts today in New York (Regal Union Square), Los Angeles (Laemmle NoHo), with San Francisco’s Roxie theater screening next week. The release will expand throughout October.

Dark Sky also holds the rights to Tobe Hooper’s original 1974 shocker, and theaters are pairing the two films. *Chain Reactions* premiered at the Venice Film Festival last year, winning the Venice Classics Award for Best Documentary on Cinema. It boasts a 100% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes from 27 reviews. For more insight, see Deadline’s interview with Philippe from the Venice premiere.

Following its premieres at Venice and Telluride, Utopia is opening *Megadoc*, a documentary directed by Mike Figgis about the making of Francis Ford Coppola’s *Megalopolis*. Screening on around 40 screens, including Angelika in NYC, Landmark Sunset in LA, Roxie in San Francisco, and AFI Silver in Washington DC/Maryland, this fly-on-the-wall doc captures Coppola’s decades-long journey creating his self-financed passion project that debuted at Cannes in 2024 and saw a theatrical release that fall.

Figgis’ real-time portrait weaves together archival materials, candid cast interviews, and an intimate look at how Coppola drew from Roman history, political allegory, and his own singular vision to shape the world of *Megalopolis*.

Also opening wide, *In Whose Name?* by Nicolas Ballesteros launches on about 1,000 screens in partnership with AMC, Regal, and Cinemark. Ballesteros began filming Kanye West, now known as Ye, at age 18 just after high school. Over six years and thousands of hours of footage, the documentary follows West through a storm of music, fashion, and faith—covering his bipolar diagnosis, collapsing marriage to Kim Kardashian, sponsorship losses, and growing public backlash over his polarizing billion-dollar brand and persona. The film is produced by ASMI Entertainment, with Simran A. Singh producing and Nick Jarjour and Amy A. Singh executive producing.

Magnolia Pictures opens *Plainclothes*, the Special Jury Award winner for Ensemble Cast at its Sundance premiere, at the IFC Center in NYC. Writer-director Carmen Emmi and cast members Tom Blyth and Russell Tovey will participate in Q&As throughout the weekend.

Set in Syracuse in the 1990s, the film stars Blyth as a police officer tasked with arresting men in public bathrooms. He becomes entangled with one of his targets (Tovey) in a story that blends love, self-discovery, and nostalgia for a time before smartphones and dating apps. *Plainclothes* currently holds an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 46 reviews.

Vietnamese audiences are flocking to *Lat Mat 8: Vong Tay Nang* (“The 8th installment”), a domestic hit that has earned $8.8 million and ranks among the top five highest-grossing films in Vietnam this year, following record-breaking advance ticket sales and opening at number one at the local box office.

Set against the golden sand dunes of Ninh Thuan province, the film explores family strife when a son’s dream to follow his own path of dance conflicts with his father’s wishes. The franchise marks its 10-year anniversary with this latest entry. Director Ly Hai’s previous film, *Face Off 7: One Wish*, is Vietnam’s third highest-grossing film of all time.

Blue Fox Entertainment opens the sci-fi family adventure *Xeno* on 306 screens. Written and directed by Matthew Loren, and produced by Kevin Hart and his company Hartbeat in association with Tabooma, the film follows a teenage outsider who forms a powerful bond with a terrifying alien after a chance encounter in the desert. This adventure questions the nature of good and evil. The cast includes Lulu Wilson, Omari Hardwick, Trae Romano, Wrenn Schmidt, Paul Schneider, and Garrett van der Leun.

Film Movement releases *My Sunshine*, a coming-of-age drama written and directed by Hiroshi Okuyama, at the Quad Cinema in NYC. Premiering at Cannes 2024, the film follows young Takuya on the Japanese island of Hokkaido during winter. A self-described worst player on his ice hockey team, Takuya becomes captivated by figure skaters on the same rink, especially rising star Sakura from Tokyo.

Music Box Films opens *The Summer Book*, director Charlie McDowell’s film adaptation of Tove Jansson’s novel of the same name, starring Glenn Close, at the Angelika Film Center in NYC. The meditative portrayal of grief and intergenerational bonds between nine-year-old Sophia and her grandmother premiered last year at BFI London and continued screening at AFI Film Festival, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and the Miami Film Festival.

The distributor’s second release is *Code 3*, which follows Maya (Singh), a 30-year-old software engineer from a conservative Indian family. By day, she works on a teen-focused app; by night, she moonlights as a high school substitute teacher. When unexpectedly assigned to teach sex education, despite having never had sex herself, chaos and comedy ensue. The film premiered at SXSW 2024.

In genre-bending territory, a melancholic sci-fi romance directed by Messina, who previously collaborated with Paolo Sorrentino on the Oscar-winning *The Great Beauty*, premiered in competition at the 2024 Berlin Film Festival.

Level 33 debuts *Queen of Manhattan*, a biopic on legendary Latin adult film icon Vanessa Del Rio, opening at 20+ AMC theaters. Written and directed by Thomas Mignone, the film is set against the backdrop of organized crime-controlled Times Square in the 1970s and 80s. Starring Esai Morales, it explores Del Rio’s groundbreaking career spanning over 21 years and 200 films, alongside her activism advocating for sex workers’ rights. The film premiered in 2022 at the Dances With Films festival.

This weekend’s indie slate offers a diverse collection of documentaries, dramas, comedies, and genre films, providing something compelling for cinephiles as summer winds down. Stay tuned for upcoming screenings and expand your cinematic horizons with these remarkable titles.

Arrests on first day of transit safety initiative ‘no surprise’: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say their new transit safety initiative has already borne fruit, with arrests occurring as early as Wednesday—the very day the project was announced.

Officers stationed at the Unicity Transit Hub made two separate arrests on launch day. In one incident, a 37-year-old man was apprehended as he attempted to board a bus to flee with goods stolen from a nearby business. The man was charged with theft under $5,000.

“It comes as no surprise to us,” said Supt. Brian Miln. “There’s a direct link to our transit strategy, as some individuals involved in retail crime use transit as a means to leave the area after committing shoplifting and theft inside retail outlets.”

The second incident involved a report from a transit driver who witnessed a man smash a bus window with his elbow. Police patrolling the hub quickly tracked down the 35-year-old suspect, who was charged with mischief under $5,000.

Additionally, police found flammable liquid and a lighter on the man, items he was banned from possessing under the conditions of a release order. He was subsequently charged with failing to comply with those conditions and taken into custody.

Although the transit safety initiative has only been in place for a few days, Miln said public response has been positive so far. “We’ve had a couple of people reach out to us through various means—emails, phone calls, etc.—who are very pleased to see a police presence on buses, saying the initiative is very welcome and overdue.”

The campaign was launched in response to a record high number of violent crimes recorded on transit buses and around bus shelters last year—more than triple the numbers reported in 2019. Authorities say this troubling trend is continuing.

The ramped-up police presence involves both uniformed and plainclothes officers and will focus on routes and stops flagged as problem areas to enhance safety for transit users.
