**Daboo Malik Credits Salman Khan and Sohail Khan for Financial Support During Tough Phase**

Veteran music composer Daboo Malik recently opened up about a challenging phase in his life, revealing how the support from Salman Khan and Sohail Khan became a turning point for him.
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Malik shared that he was once under immense financial and emotional stress. “When I felt like I couldn’t even speak, my tongue and facial expressions felt paralyzed with internal stress,” he said. Despite his struggles, his self-respect had prevented him from seeking help. “Not medically, but emotionally, my self-respect stopped me from asking anyone for help even when I couldn’t protect my children. It was a diabolical situation,” he added.
However, things changed when Sohail Khan, Salman Khan, and Salim uncle stepped in to support him. Malik expressed deep gratitude for their involvement, highlighting how Sohail Khan’s love and care helped him tremendously.
### Sohail Khan’s Unwavering Support
Malik detailed the multifaceted support he received from Sohail Khan. “The love and care that Sohail Khan showed me as a person, the way he supported me emotionally, physically, and even financially—he guided me through everything,” he said. Sohail encouraged him with a powerful line:
> “If you ever face a shortfall in life, don’t worry I am with you. You have the capability to make things happen.”
This assurance bolstered Malik during his difficult times and helped him regain his footing.
### From Acting Aspirations to Musical Legacy
Daboo Malik comes from a family with a rich musical heritage. He is the son of legendary music director Sardar Malik and brother of renowned singer Anu Malik. While Malik initially pursued a career in acting, featuring in films such as *Beta Ho To Aisa*, *Tirangaa*, *Server Sundaram Gari Abbayi*, and *Baazigar*, he eventually shifted his focus to music composition.
His breakthrough came with the song “Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hai” from the film *Maine Dil Tujhko Diya*. Since then, he has composed music for several notable films including *Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge* and *Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam*.
