Leftist Judges Rule Pedophile Has Constitutional Right to Taxpayer-Funded Sex Change Procedures

**Leftist Judges Rule Pedophile Has Constitutional Right to Taxpayer-Funded Sex Change Procedures**
*Moonbattery* | November 5, 2025 | Dave Blount

The lunacy imposed by leftist judges is beyond parody: A federal judge has ruled that the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) must provide laser hair removal, facial feminization surgery consultations, and voice therapy for a convicted pedophile who now identifies as transgender.

The inmate, identified as 47-year-old Brian Buckingham, was sentenced to more than 21 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing his 10-year-old son and producing child pornography.

For probably the first and hopefully the last time in human history, behavior like this is not considered to warrant the death penalty. These days, it warrants taxpayer-funded luxuries in support of what some describe as sexual depravity. Buckingham now calls himself “Nani Love.”

The pedophile’s lawyers argued that he has a constitutional right to force taxpayers to cater to his sexual identity and treatment needs.

In a September ruling, Magistrate Judge David Christel determined that Buckingham was “likely to succeed” in arguing that the BOP’s denial of treatment constituted cruel and unusual punishment.

The authors of the U.S. Constitution would likely gasp in horror at how their words have been interpreted and applied.

U.S. District Judge Ricardo Martinez later adopted Christel’s recommendation, issuing an order that directs the Bureau of Prisons to arrange consultations for the requested cosmetic procedures within 30 days.

We are effectively ruled from the bench by judges whose decisions many find deeply troubling.

Small Modular Reactors: Why Governments And Tech Giants Are Embracing SMRs

**Small Modular Reactors: De-Risking Nuclear Energy Through Factory Production**

Small modular reactors (SMRs) promise to reduce cost overruns and delays traditionally associated with nuclear power projects by utilizing factory production methods. This innovation is attracting significant attention from major technology companies and governments alike.

Tech giants are actively investing in the development and deployment of SMRs. Google has partnered with Kairos Power, Amazon has invested in X-energy, and Microsoft has secured output from a recently restarted nuclear reactor. Such collaborations highlight the growing confidence in SMRs as a key component of future energy systems.

Governments view SMRs as essential for enhancing energy security while meeting climate commitments. According to an analysis by Arthur D. Little, SMRs must achieve levelised costs of electricity (LCOE) between €52 and €119 per megawatt-hour to compete with other baseload energy sources under current market conditions.

As the world strives to reach net-zero carbon targets, a constant and reliable electricity supply is critical. While renewable energy sources provide part of the solution, their intermittency remains a challenge. Nuclear reactors produce electricity consistently, irrespective of weather conditions, and emit significantly lower carbon emissions compared to hydrocarbon-based power generation.

Traditional nuclear plants, however, have faced challenges such as high upfront costs and construction delays. SMRs offer a promising alternative by potentially overcoming these obstacles through modular, scalable production techniques.

Bertuzzi’s third-period hat trick leads Blackhawks past Canucks 5-2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Tyler Bertuzzi scored three goals in the third period for his fourth career hat trick, leading the Chicago Blackhawks to a 5-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night.

Bertuzzi opened the scoring just over three minutes into the third period, deflecting a long shot from Matt Grzelcyk with his skate at the side of the net. All seven goals in the game were scored in the third period.

Ilya Mikheyev also scored for the Blackhawks, while Connor Bedard added an empty-net goal and an assist. Bedard has now stretched his point streak to six games, recording five goals and six assists over that span. Ryan Donato contributed two assists for Chicago. Goaltender Spencer Knight stopped 43 shots in the win, which snapped Chicago’s three-game losing streak.

For the Canucks, Aatu Raty and Evander Kane found the back of the net. Despite being outshot 45-28 by Chicago, Vancouver’s Kevin Lankinen made 23 saves.

Canucks winger Conor Garland returned to the lineup after missing three games with an undisclosed injury. Vancouver still has five players on its injured reserve list; however, assistant coach Brett McLean said after Wednesday’s morning skate that forwards Jonathan Lekkerimaki and Teddy Blueger are expected to begin practicing soon in noncontact jerseys.

Up next:

– Blackhawks: Visit Calgary on Friday.
– Canucks: Host Columbus on Saturday.

Orlando church hosts nighttime food drive to meet growing demand amid rising costs

**Central Florida Food Pantries See Surge in Demand Amid SNAP Pause and Rising Grocery Prices**

ORLANDO, Fla. — With the pause in SNAP benefits, delayed pay for some federal workers, and rising grocery prices, food pantries across Central Florida are experiencing a surge in demand for donations. However, for many people who work during the day, finding time to attend traditional daytime food drives can be challenging.

To address this, the North Orlando Seventh-day Adventist Church has introduced a nighttime food distribution event, aimed at helping families who can’t make it to daytime giveaways.

“I work in the daytime, so it’s perfect,” said Shanoi Reid, a mother of two, who stopped by the event right after getting off work. “I just got off at 5:30 p.m. and came right on over.” Reid shared that her family currently relies on food assistance after temporarily losing SNAP benefits. “I normally get them, but right now I’m not,” she explained. “This was a good resource for us.”

Others waiting in line echoed similar struggles. Many are working full-time jobs yet still do not qualify for government aid. One mother of six noted, “They said I make too much at $18.50 an hour. I work, but I don’t make enough to afford everything.”

Pastor Gregory Carol emphasized the importance of the evening distribution, highlighting its convenience. Families can remain in their vehicles while volunteers load boxes of food directly for them. “Food insecurity hits everybody,” he said. “Not just the unemployed. There are a lot of people who have their regular jobs and still need help.”

Organizers packed about 150 boxes of food for the event but ran out halfway through, prompting them to prepare additional boxes to meet the high demand. Cheryl-Ann Duncan, Director of Community Services, explained that Wednesday evenings were chosen strategically. “We looked at all the other pantries in the area. Most of them were mornings, so we wanted to fill that gap,” she said.

By the end of the night, volunteers reported that more than 200 vehicles passed through the drive-thru line. Organizers expect even greater need at future evening food drives if SNAP benefits remain paused and grocery prices continue to rise.

For families struggling to make ends meet, nighttime distributions are becoming a vital resource in Central Florida’s ongoing effort to combat food insecurity.
