Kevin Federline Claims Britney Spears Was “Toxic” to Their Children

In an excerpt from his book, *You Thought You Knew*, obtained by People, Kevin Federline alleges that Britney Spears engaged in dangerous behavior while pregnant and breastfeeding. The Grammy-winning pop star is accused of drinking alcohol while on medication, a combination K-Fed describes as “dangerous” and “f’d up.”

Kevin writes, “You’re not supposed to drink when you’re on meds like that. A couple of glasses of wine for her would hit like a whole bottle because of the medication.” He also claims that he witnessed Spears drinking while breastfeeding, which he found “really upsetting because of the danger to the kids.” He added, “She could have pumped milk for Jayden so her mom had that ready.”

The former couple shares two children together, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Previously, Kevin also alleged that Spears used cocaine during the breastfeeding phase.

However, Britney Spears addressed some of these accusations in her 2023 memoir, *The Woman In Me*, stating that she “never” had a drinking problem nor had “any interest in hard drugs.”

In response to the recent claims from Kevin’s book, Britney’s representatives issued a statement on Tuesday:
“With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin. All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism. She detailed her journey in her memoir.”

A Florida man was sentenced to death for the brutal murder of his 9-months pregnant secret lover just days before she was due to give birth.

Jose Soto-Escalera, 49, was convicted in 2018 for the murders of 23-year-old Tania Wise and their unborn son. On Friday, Judge Lawrence Mirman handed down the death sentence after Soto-Escalera was found guilty on two counts of first-degree murder.

Tania Wise was just one week away from delivering what would have been her second child, Josiah, when she was killed. Reports indicate that the murder followed her refusal to obtain an abortion. Her body was discovered in a roadside ditch on August 24, 2018, with severe injuries, including a bashed-in head and a slit throat.

The jury voted 8-4 in favor of the death penalty, a decision that Judge Mirman later endorsed.

During the sentencing, Soto-Escalera’s attorney, Tom Burns, highlighted his difficult childhood and experiences of being bullied. Burns urged the court to consider life imprisonment instead, citing Soto-Escalera’s good behavior while incarcerated, according to Law & Crime.

However, Judge Mirman emphasized that the aggravating factors related to the murders—especially the death of the unborn child—outweighed any mitigating circumstances such as his good conduct and troubled past.

Lead prosecutor Assistant State Attorney Donald Richardson told Treasure Coast Newspapers that the evidence against Soto-Escalera was “conclusive” and that “there was no question as to his guilt.” He also described the case as “so egregious” that he was not surprised by the jury’s decision. “The facts were truly extreme,” Richardson added.

Expressing her feelings on the verdict, Tania Wise’s mother, Elizabeth Bedolla, told the outlet, “I’m not going to say that I am super happy because it doesn’t change anything. But justice needed to be done.”

Kylie Kelce reflects on pain of misccarying first pregnancy

Kylie Kelce has admitted that the emotional pain of suffering a miscarriage seven years ago “still hurts.” The 33-year-old star, who shares daughters Wyatt, six, Elliotte, four, Bennett, two, and Finn, six months, with husband Jason Kelce, first found out she was pregnant in August 2018. Tragically, she discovered she had lost the baby when she was 12 weeks along. Kylie stressed that having her other children afterwards didn’t make the loss any less painful.

Speaking on her *Not Gonna Lie* podcast, she said, “I emphasise the fact that this still hurts after having four children, because it does. And it’s okay.”

Kylie shared her experience to mark October as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. She recalled how she and Jason had traveled to London so he could play a Philadelphia Eagles game in the UK before their 12-week appointment. During the trip, they broke the news of her pregnancy to Jason’s family.

She grew emotional as she recalled:
“We made it a point to surprise Jason’s mom and dad when we were there by pretending to take a photo and telling them that we were expecting. We surprised Jason’s mom and dad with a video. We also surprised Jason’s Aunt Judy and his grandmother, Grandma Mary. When we were in Cleveland, we surprised [Jason’s brother] Travis with little baby booties. All of these interactions were recorded for memory purposes.”

The podcaster described how everything “went into slow motion” when she learned during her doctor’s appointment that she had miscarried. She said,
“It felt like everything went into slow motion. And they could not find the baby on the doppler. I remember being like, ‘Oh, there isn’t a heartbeat.’ You didn’t find one because there isn’t one.”

They estimated that the baby had stopped developing between nine and ten weeks. Essentially, Kylie had experienced what is referred to as a missed miscarriage.

Kylie was initially afraid to tell Jason because it was his birthday. She cried as she said,
“It was a s***** day because it was Jason’s birthday. I called my mom and told her that I couldn’t tell Jason because it was his birthday, which seems very silly. It seems very silly because obviously I’m going to tell my husband what happened. And I did. And it was hard for both of us.”

She admitted the loss “messed with [her] brain” and that she concealed her subsequent pregnancies until she was much further along. Kylie explained,
“Having had that experience then messed with my brain for every consecutive pregnancy. So for Wyatt, we did not share that we were pregnant until I was after 20 weeks. For consecutive pregnancies, I waited till I was at least 16 weeks.”

“I Googled almost every week what the percentage likelihood was that a baby could survive, which sounds really dark. I literally did it for Finn.”
