With the goal of not just serving drinks and their signature toasts, but also providing a bit of kindness too, La La Land Kind Cafe opens a new location in Brentwood. “First and foremost we believe in normalizing kindness and we do that through generally complimenting people”, said Francois Reihani, CEO of the growing Dallas Texas-born chain. “For us as people are leaving the store we say ‘love you.’ We believe those words should be normalized and human beings should be a lot closer than they are,” he said. The new 1, 500-square-foot cafe opened Nov. 22 at 11698 San Vicente Blvd. It marks the eighth Los Angeles area location for the chain. The eatery is known for programs that offer training and paid internships to help transition youth from foster care into adulthood. “When we talk about giving back we want to be hands on and do it ourselves,” Reihani said. “The company was founded on that. Since our first store opened we run our own programs that hire and mentor kids aging out of foster care and our youth director also helps them with their personal life including help with housing, schooling, therapy and that whole side of life.” Besides offering jobs to youth in need, the cafe serves iced drinks like the Lavender Bloom, French Toast Latte, and the Strawberry Fields. The food menu includes elevated versions of toasts such as the La La Classic Avocado Toast, the Truffle Burrata Toast and “The Queen” Avocado Toast, which mashes cream cheese with avocado and other seasoning. With the focus on spreading a good vibes, Reihani dedicated the latest cafe to his 5-year-old niece who inspired the cafe’s angel logo and helped design the coffee sleeves on the cups.

They released a video last week saying in part, “Our laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders.” President Donald Trump responded to the video by calling for their arrests and labeling their conduct “seditious. What Happened In Season 4? Stranger Things season 4 introduced the show’s biggest bad yet: Vecna. The Upside Down was created after Eleven battled Henry Creel, who also happened to be One, the first child to be experimented on by Dr. Brenner. When Eleven was a child, Henry/One posed as Peter Ballard at the Hawkins Lab. Once he gained Eleven’s trust, he betrayed her and killed the other children at the lab. Henry/One faced off against a young Eleven, and she opened the first gate to the Upside Down as she tried to destroy him. Henry/One didn’t die when he was thrown into the Upside Down. Vecna was born. Vecna is the one behind all the chaos that’s been wreaking havoc in Hawkins. In Volume 2 of Stranger Things season 4, the Hawkins crew (with Eleven’s help) tried to take down Vecna. In the midst of this fight, Eddie sacrificed himself and died in Dustin’s arms, Eleven infiltrated Max’s mind, Jason and Lucas got into a brutal fight, and Max was nearly killed by Vecna. Joseph Quinn became an instant star after his breakout performance as Eddie Munson. Even though Eddie died in season 4, many fans hope that Eddie will return in season 5. “He feels kind of gone, it feels pretty hard to bring him back, I’d say, but, I don’t know,” Joseph told Access about possibly returning. The end of the season 4 finale showed the effects of the Upside Down creeping in on Hawkins, and the biggest fight for Eleven and the others is still ahead. Meanwhile, Max is in a coma after her confrontation with Vecna. “Now that I’m here in Hawkins, I can feel him,” Will said to Mike about Vecna. “And he’s hurt. He’s hurting. But he’s still alive. It’s strange, knowing now who it was this whole time, but I can still remember what he thinks and how he thinks. And he’s not going to stop. Ever. Not until he’s taken everything. And everyone. How to get Gigantes in Kirby Air Riders To get access to Gigantes, you will first need to get the Normal ending in Road Trip. That means playing through and completing a full Road Trip and taking part in the final battle at the end. When you have done that, you will be able to activate Gigantes in City Trial mode. Now, Gigantes is not like a normal machine. You cannot unlock it or buy it in the store and then choose to drive it. It will only be available in the City Trial mode after you unlock it, and you will need to collect three pieces of the machine from red boxes to be able to drive it. These appear randomly on the map and can be picked up by anyone in the game, including CPU riders. When someone is carrying a piece, or two for that matter, they will be marked on the screen, making them the center of attention, so keep your eyes peeled for people carrying parts. You should also be cautious when you have one, as people will come gunning for you. Just smash the other person’s machine until they drop the part, and you can pick it up. Once you get all three pieces, you will be transformed into the massive Gigantes and will be able to crush buildings beneath your immense bulk.

Attorney Lindsey Halligan as “a former White House aide with no prior prosecutorial experience,” Judge Cameron McGowan Currie today dropped the criminal cases against New York Attorney General Leticia James and former FBI Director James Comey pending in the Eastern District of Virginia. “I agree with Ms. James that the Attorney General’s attempt to install Ms. Halligan as Interim U. S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia was invalid,” Currie wrote. “And because Ms. Halligan had no lawful authority to present the indictment, I will grant Ms. James’s motion and dismiss the indictment without prejudice.” Currie wrote the same passage in her order dismissing the charges against Comey. Currie, 77, was appointed to the federal bench by Bill Clinton in 1994. Last month, the chief judge of the Fourth Circuit tasked Currie, who is based in South Carolina, with handling Comey’s disqualification motion. Chief Judge Albert Diaz said in an October 21 order that the transfer was necessary for the “limited purposes in the interest of maintaining public confidence in the impartial administration of justice.” A similar motion by Leticia James also landed on Currie’s docket. In stark contrast to Judge Aileen Cannon’s five-month deliberations as to the lawfulness of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s appointment-Donald Trump’s lawyer filed a motion to dismiss the documents case based on Smith’s unconstitutional appointment in February 2024 and Cannon agreed with Trump in the matter and dismissed the documents indictment in July 2024-Currie took less than a month to kick Halligan off both cases. He thanked his defense attorneys and DOJ prosecutors who had refused to bring any charges against him, resulting in a purge of the office. Comey forgot to mention that the father of Erik Siebert, the ex-interim U. S. Attorney removed for refusing to indict the former FBI director for making false statements and obstructing Congress, is godfather to one of Comey’s children. Hopefully his preening won’t last long. Even if he skates on these charges, Comey appears to be a target of the DOJ’s “grand conspiracy” investigation into the perpetrators of Russiagate and decade-long lawfare against the president. This Friday will see the release of Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. The love saga is all set to surprise based on the advance booking trends, with a double-digit opening not being ruled out. And another good news is that the film has been passed with just one cut by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). EXCLUSIVE: CBFC goes easy on Tere Ishk Mein; only ONE ‘obscene’ word changed; intensely romantic and action scenes UNTOUCHED A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Tere Ishk Mein has a lot of fights and intense romance, as evident from the trailers. The CBFC usually asks for deletions in the action scenes, certain fiery dialogues or intimate moments. But with Tere Ishk Mein, they have not asked for any visual cut at all. Only one dialogue has been modified.” As per the cut list, an ‘obscene’ word was replaced with an appropriate word at around 27 minutes. The two more changes asked were to insert the anti-smoking static message in Hindi and blur the liquor brand label. Once these changes were made, Tere Ishk Mein was passed with a U/A 16+ certificate on November 24. The length of the film, as mentioned, on the censor certificate is 169. 17 minutes. In other words, Tere Ishk Mein is 2 hours, 49 minutes and 17 seconds long. It releases in cinemas on November 28. Fun at the trailer launch The trailer launch of Tere Ishk Mein was held on November 14 and was attended by Dhanush, Kriti Sanon, director Aanand L Rai, producer Bhushan Kumar, co-producer Shiv Chanana, writer-producer Himanshu Sharma and co-writer Neeraj Yadav. At this event, Dhanush won the hearts of his fans with his replies and also sang, which led to a frenzy.
