“On another day, both the balls would have gone into the stands” – India all-rounder backs Pant, Jurel over ugly dismissals in Guwahati Test

Team India all-rounder Washington Sundar backed Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel over poor strokes that led to their dismissals on Day 3 of the Guwahati Test against South Africa. Sundar said that Pant has tasted success with the same approach in the past and added that the management backs him completely. India had another poor day in the office on Day 3 of the second Test against South Africa at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Monday, November 24. Resuming their second innings at 9-0, the hosts were all-out for 201 in 83. 5 overs. Pant was dismissed for seven as he skipped down the track to Marco Jansen, but only managed to nick the ball to the keeper, while Jurel (0) mistimed a pull. The Indian captain came in for heavy criticism from fans and experts following his ugly dismissal. Sundar, however, threw his weight behind the batters. Speaking at a press conference after the end of Day 3 in Guwahati, he said: “On another day, both the balls would have gone into the stands and all of us would have appreciated and clapped. That’s how it is. Sometimes, you’ve just got to back their plans and their skill sets as well, given the fact that they have shown lot of evidences in the past as well. Obviously, the execution didn’t go the way we wanted.” Asked for an assessment of India’s batting failure on Day 3 of the Test against South Africa, Sundar replied that it is up to the individuals to take a call on how to play. The all-rounder elaborated: “There’s quite a few ways you can play the game and I think it’s up to the individuals as to what their plans are, especially on this wicket. We just back our plans and at times it doesn’t go the way we wanted to.” India got off to a decent start on Day 3 of the Guwahati Test and were 95-1 at one stage. However, they kept losing wickets to concede a huge first-innings lead. “It wasn’t a snake pit” Washington Sundar on Guwahati wicket for 2nd IND vs SA 2025 Test While India’s bowlers struggled to make an impact against South Africa in the first innings, the Proteas were a lot more effective. Left-arm pacer Jansen made the ball talk, claiming 6-48 from 19. 5 overs. Sundar admitted that the pitch remained a good one to bat on Day 3 as well. The 26-year-old said: “It wasn’t a snake pit or whatever you may call it. I mean, it’s a very good wicket. It’s a true wicket. Not many days you’ll get to bat on such tracks, especially in India. If you spend time there, runs are for the taking. You can’t really contain runs for a very long period of time.” Sundar, who batted at No. 3 in the previous Test, came in at No. 8 on Monday. He contributed a defiant 48 off 92 balls, while Yashasvi Jaiswal top-scored with 58. At stumps on Day 2, South Africa were 26-0 in their second innings, having taken all overall lead of 314 runs.

Jaguars vs. Chargers: Week 11 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em

If you have any Jacksonville Jaguars players on your fantasy football team, it’s important to know who to start and who to sit for Week 11, especially with their matchup against the LA Chargers. Let’s take a closer look.

**Start: RB Travis Etienne**
Etienne has had a strong season so far, totaling 656 rushing yards at an impressive 4.9 yards per carry. The Jaguars will likely lean into the run game to help open up their passing attack. This strategy plays well against the Chargers’ defense, which has been allowing 4.9 yards per rush on the season—ranking 26th in the league. Expect Etienne to be a focal point in the offense and a reliable fantasy option this week.

**Sit: WR Dyami Brown**
Brown’s role within the Jaguars offense appears to be diminishing. Last week in Houston, he played just 23 offensive snaps, down significantly from 48 snaps the week prior. With the recent addition of Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington continuing to establish themselves as key offensive weapons, Brown may find himself on the outside looking in when it comes to consistent playing time. It’s advisable to sit him this week.

**Start: WR Parker Washington**
Brian Thomas Jr. is currently questionable for Week 11, and with Meyers still getting acclimated to the offense, Washington’s role remains steady and dependable. When Washington gets the ball in his hands, good things tend to happen. Additionally, he has the potential to make a big impact on special teams, possibly even returning another punt for a touchdown. Washington is a solid start for your fantasy lineup this week.

Keep these recommendations in mind when setting your lineup for Week 11 to maximize your fantasy points with Jaguars players!

The national debt is America’s hoarding problem | Las Vegas Review-Journal

Is “Three” the New “Two?”

Consumer prices notched another 3% year-on-year increase in September, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Despite this, no one in Washington seems bothered that inflation remains well above the Federal Reserve’s 2% target.

The big headlines about job losses tend to focus on major employers. For example, UPS has announced layoffs of 48,000 workers, Intel is cutting 24,000 positions, Amazon is reducing its workforce by up to 30,000, and Target is letting go of 1,800 employees. These pink slips are being dropped largely on white-collar positions.

General Hospital Fans Really Want Martin To Leave With Drew

General Hospital is currently at a very exciting point, with numerous big plot developments unfolding. Among these, Martin Grey has emerged as a significant figure on the show, drawing comparisons to characters like Drew Cain. Interestingly, fans are now expressing a strong desire for Martin to leave alongside Drew.

This sentiment gained momentum following the latest developments involving Martin. While Drew’s negative reputation has been established for quite some time, Martin Grey has recently joined the list of characters that many fans find hard to tolerate. A recent debate among fans questioned whether Martin is as cunning as Drew, and the October 28, 2025 episode only served to fuel the frustration.

In that episode, Martin is seen preparing to manipulate Ronnie. His plan involves convincing Ronnie to sell the house through deceptive means, showcasing his scheming nature. This storyline prompted a wave of discussions on social media, with many fans voicing their wish for Martin to exit the show alongside Drew.

One fan ignited the debate on the General Hospital Fans Official Facebook page, posting, “I need Drew gone and he needs to take Martin with him to DC. Bye.” This comment resonated with many, sparking a variety of responses.

“They are both dishonest! No one would miss them if they moved to Washington!” one user replied.

Another fan added, “How many times do you all have to have people say that?”

Others chimed in with remarks like, “Yes, agreed!! They are both scum!” and “From your lips to the writer’s ears.”

The collective reactions clearly indicate that fans are fed up with both Drew and Martin. Drew’s months of evil scheming have made him one of the most hated characters General Hospital has seen in recent years, and Martin’s recent actions seem to have placed him in the same disliked category.

As the story progresses, upcoming episodes of General Hospital will further explore Martin’s diabolical plans. It remains to be seen whether the show’s writers will ultimately have Martin exit the canvas, potentially satisfying fans who want both him and Drew gone.

Bucks’ Kyle Kuzma exits Raptors game with ankle injury

Kyle Kuzma suffered an injury during Friday night’s matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors.

Kuzma is now in his second season with the Bucks, which began this past Wednesday. He joined Milwaukee after being acquired from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Khris Middleton.

In Friday’s game, Kuzma came off the bench and played 18 minutes before sustaining the injury. The incident occurred in the first minute of the fourth quarter when he landed on an opposing player’s foot. He immediately limped off the court and headed to the locker room.

NBA insider Brett Siegel later reported that the veteran forward would miss the remainder of the game. “Bucks say Kyle Kuzma has a left ankle sprain and will miss the remainder of tonight’s game against the Raptors,” Siegel wrote.
