RODRIGUEZ, Rizal—Juan Gomez de Liano made an impressive debut, registering a triple-double as Converge took advantage of Calvin Abueva’s absence to dominate Titan Ultra, 129-92, on Saturday in the PBA Philippine Cup at Ynares Center II.
Gomez de Liano finished the game with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, leading the FiberXers to a commanding victory. His all-around performance was a key factor in Converge’s strong showing throughout the match.

A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces are in rarified air. The franchise won its third WNBA championship in four seasons, completing a sweep of Phoenix in the best-of-seven Finals on Friday night.

PHOENIX — A’ja Wilson scored 31 points, while Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young each added 18, leading the Las Vegas Aces to their third WNBA championship in four seasons.
The Aces defeated the Phoenix Mercury 97-86 on Friday night, completing a four-game sweep of the Finals.
This victory marked a dominant performance as the Aces made quick work of the league’s first best-of-seven Finals series.

米女子ゴルフのビュイックLPGA第2ラウンドが10日、中国・上海の旗忠花園ゴルフクラブ（パー72）で行われました。
勝みなみ選手がツアー自己ベストとなる61をマークし、通算13アンダーの131で単独首位に立ちました。
2打差の2位にはユ選手が続いています。

「よさこい」は高知県で始まったとても元気な踊りです。音が鳴る「鳴子（なるこ）」という道具を持って、みんなで踊ります。
長崎県佐世保市では「YOSAKOIさせぼ祭り」という大きな祭りが開催されます。街のいろいろな場所に舞台が設けられ、全国から129のチームがよさこいを踊ります。
大会を開く団体の人たちは「見に来た人が元気になる祭りにしたいです」と話しました。祭りは10月17日から19日まで行われます。
