It remained with its original owner until 1999 when it was acquired by the current owner’s father. The vehicle was later inherited in 2014, and since then, it has undergone several updates and maintenance work to preserve its condition.

The car’s body was repainted in ivory in 2022, during which time the door handles were replaced and the front and rear bumpers were refinished. A replacement power-operated soft convertible top was installed in March 2025, ensuring the car retains its classic appeal while offering modern convenience. Additional exterior details include remote-controlled mirrors, pinstripes, bright bodyside moldings, and 15″ steel wheels with black covers wrapped in 235/75 Suretrac Power Touring white-wall tires.
