Soccer star continues heartbreaking search for lost beagle Halo in Mexico

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Aaron Ramsey’s move to Mexico has taken a distressing turn off the field as he continues his search for his lost dog, Halo.

On Friday, the Wales soccer star posted a black-and-white photo on Instagram showing him hugging the beagle, accompanied by the heartfelt message: “What I’d do to hold you one last time Halo.” Ramsey has appealed for help in tracking down his beloved pet and has offered a $10,000 reward.

“Please help us find Halo, he was lost in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato,” Ramsey wrote on Instagram.

The former Arsenal, Juventus, and Cardiff midfielder moved to Mexico in July, signing a one-year contract with top-tier club Pumas, which currently sits 12th in the 18-team league.

Ramsey missed Pumas’ last match against León on Saturday as he continued the search for Halo, who went missing earlier this month after being left at a dog shelter in Dolores, a city in Guanajuato, an industrial and agricultural state located in central Mexico.

His Pumas teammates and coach understand how much the dog means to Ramsey.

“We are with him, let’s see what happens in the upcoming days,” Pumas coach Efraín Juárez said after the team’s 1-0 win against Lyon. “He has this issue, we all know what it is, with his dog, but we are there for him.”

The search continues.

“We are still searching for answers. If you see a beagle in San Ignacio, Dolores Hidalgo, please message us,” Ramsey’s wife, Colleen Ramsey, said on social media.

Ramsey recently finished the final three games of the 2024-25 season as Cardiff’s interim manager after the club was relegated from England’s League Championship to the third-tier League One.

With 86 appearances for Wales, Ramsey has been a key player, helping his country reach the Euro 2016 semifinals.

Jonathan Taylor’s third touchdown gives Colts 38-7 lead

Once again, Jonathan Taylor has delivered a standout performance by scoring three touchdowns in a single game. However, this time, Taylor’s third touchdown came through the air. He caught a pop pass from Daniel Jones and took it 19 yards to the end zone, extending the Colts’ lead to 38-7 early in the fourth quarter.

This marks the fourth time this season that Taylor has registered three touchdowns in a game. Remarkably, it’s the second week in a row and the third time in the last four contests that he has achieved this feat. Additionally, it’s the first time in 2025 that Taylor has recorded at least one rushing and one receiving touchdown in the same game.

According to the CBS broadcast, this is also a rare accomplishment: it’s the first time a player has scored at least three touchdowns against the same opponent in three consecutive games.

Taylor’s stats for the day are impressive—he has 12 carries for 135 yards with two rushing touchdowns, plus two catches for 21 yards and one receiving score. With the Colts leading by 31 points, Taylor’s workload for the day may be complete.

If so, it has been another strong performance that keeps him on track to be this year’s Offensive Player of the Year.

Bucs up 7-0 after Anthony Nelson interception return for a touchdown

The Buccaneers’ offense struggled to convert four plays from the Saints’ 1-yard line into points. However, the defense stepped up to make a significant impact.

Edge rusher Anthony Nelson made a game-changing play by batting a Spencer Rattler pass into the air and then intercepting it, returning the pick for a four-yard touchdown. With the extra point, the Bucs took a 7-0 lead with 6:41 remaining in the first half.

Nelson continued his strong performance by forcing a fumble on a scramble and sacking the Saints quarterback, making it a busy day for the veteran defender.

Earlier, the Bucs had driven 91 yards on their last offensive possession, but neither Rachaad White nor Sean Tucker could break through the Saints’ defensive line to score a touchdown. Nelson’s interception return helped ease the frustration from that missed opportunity.

The Buccaneers will look to build on this momentum and try for better offensive results when they get the ball back.

As Bad As You Think Mike Pence Is, He’s Worse

As I listened to this clip of Chief Steven A. Sund talking with the Lindell TV reporter, I thought about how General Flynn’s fate rested on everyone’s belief that Mike Pence was the arbiter of truth. When Pence said General Flynn lied, he was believed. Now, Pence pops up again as the person who sold out Chief Sund, who became Pelosi’s fall guy on January 6.

Pelosi claimed Sund never called her, and Mike Pence didn’t contradict her. He let Sund take the rap. It’s a lie by omission, and he sold out the Chief.

**Why did Pelosi think Sund lied to Pence? What did Pence say?**

As bad as we know Pence is, he’s worse than you think. It’s obvious Pelosi set everyone up on January 6, and she didn’t care who got hurt. Neither did Mike Pence.

### Sund’s Interview

Nancy Pelosi had asked former Capitol Hill Police Chief Steven Sund why he “lied to Vice President Pence,” and why he “gave him [Pence] false information.”

The reporter asked Mr. Sund, “Let’s talk about after the fact, following January 6, you were ultimately forced to resign. What happened there? How did that unfold?”

Sund replied:

> “So I’m up all night. I don’t think I slept for about 38 hours. We’re briefing members of Congress very next day about, you know, what our plan is for the Capitol. We got them back into session.
>
> “It’s interesting because, you know, I kept getting a call from Vice President Pence asking me to come over to a secure location. I can’t [Sund said] can’t leave, right at the command center right now. So finally, at about five o’clock, we started getting things under control. Both were briefed.
>
> “About 5:15, I went ahead and said, ‘I’m going to go ahead and go over and brief him,’ notified the two Sergeant-at-Arms. I go over and brief him, and he gets Pelosi on the phone, because my information tells me we can get them back in the session at 7 pm, 7:30 at the latest. He gets big Speaker Pelosi on the phone, sets it right on LED screens, like right between us.”
>
> “He briefed them and they decide, okay, great, she’s gonna brief the leadership. I’m walking out of that meeting, and I’m walking back through a tunnel, and I run into Mike Stinger. He’s walking over to brief the Senate. Asked me, will you come brief the center with me? I said, not a problem. He’s my boss.
>
> “Someone hands up a phone, and it’s Speaker Pelosi, and she is mad as can be. She is chewing me out about why I lied to Vice President Pence, why give them false information? They’re being told they can’t get into session for at least 24 hours.”
>
> “I said, ‘No, ma’am, my information is correct.’ That’s the second time I talked to her and she hangs up the phone.
>
> “So I walk over to the Senate. They end up getting me back on another conference call to brief all of leadership before we go in and brief the Senate, never did brief the Senate, actually had to leave to come back to the command center.
>
> “So there’s three times I talked to Speaker Pelosi. The next day, we’re briefing members of Congress. We’re trying to set a meeting with Speaker Pelosi’s office to do a brief there.”
>
> “At 4 o’clock in the afternoon, I’m briefing Senator Blount, I’m in a conference room, and I see my Chief of Staff step out. She steps back in, and she says, ‘You need to step outside. I gotta talk to you real quick.’
>
> “And she notifies me that Speaker Pelosi is getting ready to go on national TV and call for my resignation; I had just enough time to notify my wife.
>
> “I wasn’t gonna go and watch the news press conference; kind of expected what was coming, but my chief of staff and my general counsel said, ‘Now let’s go and watch it. Watch it.’
>
> “Twenty-three minutes into the press conference, someone asks about the security failures. And she blatantly comes out and says it was a failure of leadership at the top of Capitol Police, calls for my resignation. Says it was a failure on my part, and then says, ‘Besides, he’s never even called me since this occurred.’ I’d talked to her three times, you know.”

This interview sheds new light on how Chief Sund was scapegoated after January 6. Pelosi’s accusations and Pence’s silence allowed Sund to take the full blame for the security failures—despite the evidence that contradicts their claims.

The truth is out there: the leadership during January 6 was more concerned with political damage control than actual accountability.
