Mister Donut Reveals November 2025 Pokemon Designs

Mister Donut has unveiled its new Pokémon collaboration doughnut designs, set to launch in November 2025. This latest collection features the fifth-generation mushroom Pokémon Foongus alongside the franchise mascot, Pikachu.

The popular doughnut chain previously teased the collaboration in late August 2025, confirming that this would be their eighth crossover event with the Pokémon franchise. Now, Mister Donut has announced the exact launch date: the new collaboration will be available starting November 5, 2025.

The catchphrase for this batch, “Tamageta!” (which translates to “I’m flabbergasted!”), is inspired by Foongus’ Japanese name, Tamagetake. This name combines the phrase “Tamageta” with “Take,” meaning mushroom. The same catchphrase is also used for the additional doughnuts inspired by Mimikyu and Voltorb.

Psyops On The Sunday Shows!

Part of keeping up with the news—and then watching the Sunday shows—is that you start to see the propaganda code embedded in our political matrix. Follow us as we do our best impersonation of Lawrence Fishburne’s Morpheus and “show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.” This week, at least.

### Scott Bessent

We’ve already covered some of the most ridiculously idiotic things Bessent said on ABC’s *This Week* [here](#), so we’re going to focus on his other two Sunday show appearances.

On NBC’s *Meet The Press*, host Kristen Welker pressed Bessent on the new 10 percent tariffs Donald Trump announced this week. The tariffs followed Ontario airing an ad featuring real 1987 footage of Ronald Reagan explaining why tariffs are bad—a move that apparently hurt Trump’s feelings.

Bessent’s defense was neither compelling nor especially sensible.

**BESSENT:** “Well, Kristen, let’s—let’s think about this. This is a kind of propaganda against U.S. citizens. You know, it’s psyops.”

Is it, though? Because if playing footage of and quoting Republicans being hypocritical liars counts as “psyops,” this very weekly rundown would qualify as an MKUltra program.

Welker also asked Bessent for details on whether these new Canadian tariffs would apply to all goods or only select items, but he did not know.

Welker then launched some “psyops” of her own by playing a clip of Trump promising to bring the price of groceries “way down.” After listing several items like coffee, beef, and bacon whose prices are actually rising, Bessent got a bit defensive and tried to shift the goalposts.

**BESSENT:** “Kristen, it’s unfortunate—as much as I like you—you like to cherrypick. You know, when we came in, it was ‘egg-flation, egg-flation, egg-flation.’ You know, egg prices are down.”

Bessent took a similar tone with a similar question on CBS’s *Face The Nation* when host Margaret Brennan pressed him. He tried the classic spouse’s tactic when losing an argument:

**BESSENT:** “You listed the things that are up, but we’re seeing plenty of things that are down. Why does everyone always point out the things they suck at instead of the things they’re so great at, Margaret?”

Back on *Meet The Press*, before the interview ended, Bessent was asked about the destruction of the East Wing of the White House to make way for Trump’s gaudy ballroom. Welker played a clip of Trump promising that they would not touch the original White House structure, then asked why Trump didn’t tell the public his real intentions.

While Bessent recycled the usual talking points and false equivalences we’ve all heard about previous White House renovations, he added a new one we had to note.

**BESSENT:** “Well, again, I think this was a judgment call on the president. The president is a master builder. And I don’t know. I assume that maybe parts of the East Wing could have been asbestos, could have been mold, could have not fit with the design.”

A MASTER BUILDER! Here is a video of Trump loving asbestos—while you catch your breath laughing at the suggestion that he is a MASTER BUILDER.

### Arnold Schwarzenegger

Former California Republican governor and aging Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on CNN’s *State of the Union* to criticize California’s redistricting effort.

Current California Governor Gavin Newsom is leading an effort to redraw the state’s congressional maps after Texas redrew its maps to steal five Democratic House seats, giving Trump and the GOP even more power.

While Schwarzenegger’s reasoning sounds fair, it strikes us as a bit Pollyanna-ish.

**SCHWARZENEGGER:**
“Texas started it. They did something terribly wrong. And then, all of a sudden, California says, well, then we have to do something terribly wrong. And then now other states are jumping in. And now this is spreading like wildfire all over the country. […] The thing is that you cannot cheat your way out of it. What they should do is, what the Democrats should do is, they should outperform Trump.”

The problem with that, Governator, is that in many places it’s already rigged against Democrats, so that even when Democrats turn out more voters, Republicans still manage to gain seats!

Democrats have tried to pass voting rights and national fair redistricting laws, but you cannot get there if we are fighting with our fists while the GOP uses laser blasters.

If anyone should understand the need to improvise to defeat a stronger and more ruthless enemy, it should be the guy who took down a Predator.

### Margaret Brennan

Speaking of gerrymandering, we conclude with Margaret Brennan on CBS’s *Face The Nation*, particularly the end of her interview with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

When Jeffries brought up the topic of gerrymandering and election denial, Brennan’s attempt to “both sides” the issue sounded less like CBS News and more like OAN.

**BRENNAN:**
“You said Democrats ‘there are no election deniers on our side of the aisle.’ You said that back in January. But recently you’ve been using the term ‘rigged elections’ in reference to the upcoming midterms. Democrats were appalled when President Trump used language like that. How do you justify using that now? Doesn’t that undermine faith for voters you need to show up?”

Ahem, no. Because voters can understand the difference between denying the results of a fair election and the GOP’s effort to change the rules to cheat and steal elections.

This “both sides” argument would be laughable if made by a terrible op-ed writer or some journalistically bankrupt outlet. Guess we didn’t have to wait long for the “Bari Weiss Effect” to be noticed at CBS News.

Have a week. Share. I’m also HERE.

Nicole Kidman stuns in sexy black gown on Vogue World runway after Keith Urban split

Nicole Kidman is showing Keith Urban what he’s missing.

Following her split from her country singer husband, the “Big Little Lies” actress stole the show at Vogue World: Hollywood 2025 in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Kidman, 58, walked the runway in a Chanel by Matthieu Blazy black bustier dress adorned with black satin camellias. She complemented the look with bright red lipstick and wore her signature blonde hair curled and parted to the side. Kidman’s style paid homage to Rita Hayworth as the titular character in the classic 1946 film *Gilda*.

The Oscar winner even kicked off her appearance with a backstage rendition of “Put the Blame on Mame” from the movie. The performance, shot in black and white, featured backing dancers in tuxedos and vintage studio lights, adding to the nostalgic vibe.

This fashion event marked Kidman’s third public outing since she filed for divorce from Urban, 58, after 20 years of marriage late last month.

On October 4, Kidman attended amFAR’s auction in Dallas, where she presented her “Lioness” collaborator Taylor Sheridan with an award. Two days later, she attended the Chanel runway show during Paris Fashion Week with her daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, showcasing her fresh breakup bangs.

News of Kidman and Urban’s split first broke on September 29, just one day before she officially filed for divorce in Nashville, Tennessee. According to divorce documents obtained by The Post, Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their separation and listed the date of separation as the date of filing.

Insiders suggest the couple had been separated “since the beginning of summer,” with Urban having already moved out of their family home to his own place in Nashville. Additional sources close to the former couple hinted that Urban was seeing another woman, although it’s unclear if this relationship began before or after his departure from the marital home.

For his part, the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” crooner returned to the concert stage with a performance in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on October 2.

Neither Kidman nor Urban has spoken publicly about the breakup. However, Urban appeared to take a subtle dig at his estranged wife when he sang a song about “wanting to break out of a soul-sucking routine that you might be stuck in” during the premiere of his new CBS show, *The Road*.

During the episode, Urban also opened up about feeling “lonely and miserable” while on tour.

“When you wake up on a tour bus at 3:30 in the morning and you’re sick as a dog, you’re in the middle of nowhere and you’ve got to play your fifth show later that night, and you haven’t slept, and you miss your friends, and you’re missing your family, and you’re completely lonely and miserable and sick and you say to yourself, ‘Why am I doing this?’” he said.

“The only answer can be: because this is what I’m born to do,” the Grammy Award winner added.

Vatican II at Sixty

December 8, 2025, is quickly approaching—a date marking the sixtieth anniversary of the close of the Second Vatican Council in 1965.

As a budding teenager at the time, I paid scant attention to the event, not realizing that it would come to dominate most of my life. Like many theologians, I have spent much of my career studying the council, explaining its documents, and engaging in the debates that this great synod ignited.

A few years ago, while researching a book on Vatican II, I came to an even deeper appreciation of its work. The theologians tasked with drafting and editing the documents were priests and bishops deeply dedicated to the faith—both intellectually and spiritually.

Studying their journals—particularly those of men like Yves Congar, a conciliar expert, and Gérard Philips, draftsman of *Lumen Gentium* and moderator of the crucially important Theological Commission—one quickly realizes that these theologians had devoted their lives to Christ, the gospel, and the Church.

5 things to do while you’re in Hallowell

**Editor’s Note:**
*5 Things* is a new feature in which locals give our readers suggestions for exploring the state of Maine, town by town. Have a city or town you think we should explore in the future? Tell News & Culture Editor Katherine Lee at [email protected].

Kate Tremblay loves standing in the middle of Vaughan Woods in Hallowell and thinking about a line from a 1931 memoir.

“You will, in time, I hope, see the ravine restored much to its original beauty,” William Warren Vaughan wrote. For years, Vaughan had been buying back land sold by earlier generations of his family. He saw how those parcels were industrialized, and he wanted to reverse course.

Now, Vaughan Woods and Historic Homestead is a nature preserve and house museum, home to sprawling trails and year-round programs. This property was home to seven generations of the same family, which descended from Benjamin Hallowell himself.

Tremblay, 49, is the nonprofit’s executive director.

“I love the feeling of knowing the place where I live really well and knowing and understanding the history of our place,” she said.

### What’s your favorite spot to eat?
Tremblay loves to eat out in Hallowell, but her family also likes to pick up dinner to eat at home.

“We get a lot of takeout from the Indian place downtown, the Desi Kitchen.” Her go-to dish? Butter chicken.

### Where would you go for a drink?
Tremblay’s answer to this question comes from a favorite memory from her first winter in the city.

“When we first moved here, we went cross country skiing, and then we went downtown in the afternoon to The Maine House and had a hot cocktail. It’s the best.”

### Where would you go to be outside?
Vaughan Woods is a beloved spot for Tremblay, of course. Her house actually backs up to the trees. She can walk through the woods to get to work, and her kids take the path through the trees to get to school.

But Tremblay has another great option for biking, skiing and even just walking to the grocery store. The Kennebec River Rail Trail is 6.5 miles along its namesake waterway.

“Hallowell is really lucky to have the rail trail right along the river. It always surprises me how wild it feels when you’re in big sections that run between Augusta and Gardiner. It’s pretty special.”

### Where do you shop local?
The Rusticators Emporium is a favorite for Tremblay and her family. They bought funky glasses and mismatched silverware for the Thanksgiving table.

Her son likes to collect old decks of playing cards. Her daughter has what they call a Mad Hatter’s tea set, and she’s always scouting for the tiniest cups and saucers.

“Our whole house is furnished from the antique mall,” Tremblay said with a laugh.

### What’s a hidden gem in Hallowell?
“Believe it or not, there is another conservation area that is amazing,” Tremblay said. The Effie L. Berry Conservation Area is located next to Stevens Commons. (You can access this area by car or on foot; there is a parking area at the end of Coos Lane.)

The Kennebec Land Trust’s website says there are no formal trails, but the area is open for hiking, skiing and snowshoeing.

“You get the most spectacular view of the Capitol building that you can imagine,” Tremblay said. “It’s just gorgeous.”

Trump issues chilling warning to Putin after Russia tests new ‘invincible’ nuclear missile

President Trump issued a chilling warning to Vladimir Putin on Monday after the Russian leader boasted about testing his country’s new “invincible” nuclear missile.

“They know we have a nuclear submarine, the greatest in the world, right off their shore,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One as he prepared to travel to Japan.

His remarks came after Putin on Sunday hailed an 8,700-mile, 15-hour test flight for Russia’s “unique” nuclear-powered missile, dubbed a “flying Chernobyl.” Russia claims this weapon could strike targets in the United States.

“They’re not playing games with us. We’re not playing games with them either,” President Trump continued, before reiterating his demand that Putin end the war in Ukraine.

“I don’t think it’s an appropriate thing for Putin to be saying. By the way, he ought to get the war ended. A war that should have taken one week is now in its, soon, fourth year. That’s what he ought to do instead of testing missiles,” Trump added.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has increased his calls for the US to supply his country with long-range missiles to pressure Putin into making peace.

Zelensky praised President Trump’s latest sanctions on Russia, saying they “will make a difference,” but warned that more pressure is needed to bring an end to the conflict raging since February 2022.

“President Trump is concerned about escalation. But I think that if there are no negotiations, there will be an escalation anyway. I think that if Putin doesn’t stop, we need something to stop him. Sanctions is one such weapon, but we also need long-range missiles,” President Zelensky told Axios on Sunday.

3 games in 3 days: Los Angeles Dodgers look to capitalize on home-field advantage vs. Toronto Blue Jays

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Dodgers have the Toronto Blue Jays right where they want them in the World Series: at home for three games in three days. Tied 1-1 in the best-of-seven series, the action resumes Monday night with the Dodgers backed by their raucous home fans. The team aims to become the first to win consecutive championships since the New York Yankees won three straight from 1998 to 2000.

Last year, the Dodgers clinched their eighth World Series title by defeating the Yankees in New York. However, their only championship won at home was back in 1963 at Dodger Stadium.

Twenty hours after closing the chapter on the Rogers Centre under its closed roof, the Blue Jays took batting practice at Dodger Stadium on Sunday amid hazy skies that partially obscured the San Gabriel Mountains. The team arrived at their hotel early Monday morning around 4 a.m. Meanwhile, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts faced flight delays and did not reach the stadium until 5 p.m.

### Max Scherzer to Start Game 3 for Blue Jays

Three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer, at 41 years and 82 days old, will start Game 3 for Toronto. The Blue Jays are hoping Scherzer can replicate his strong outing in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series when he held the Seattle Mariners to just two runs over 5 2/3 innings.

“Obviously, with age, you don’t have the same stuff. I know they don’t have the same leash on him as he used to have,” Roberts said. “But, man, he’s still a great competitor. It’s still going to be a tough test for us regardless because he wants to beat us really bad.”

Dodger fans have their own memories of Scherzer, not all positive. He was slated to start for Los Angeles in Game 6 of the 2021 National League Championship Series but was scratched late due to arm fatigue. The Dodgers lost that game to the Atlanta Braves and were eliminated.

“I wouldn’t be looking backwards at all for any motivation,” Scherzer said. “I have plenty of motivation. I’m here to win and I’ve got a clubhouse full of guys who want to win, too.”

Scherzer and fellow Cy Young Award winner Shane Bieber, scheduled to start Game 4, will mark the eighth duo of former Cy Young winners to start consecutive World Series games for the same team, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

### Tyler Glasnow to Pitch for Dodgers

Tyler Glasnow will take the mound Monday for the Dodgers. Growing up about 30 miles away in Santa Clarita, Glasnow rooted for the Dodgers and now gets the chance to pitch for his hometown team. This postseason, Glasnow has allowed just one run and seven hits with 18 strikeouts, eight walks, and an impressive 0.68 ERA across three appearances.

“It’s very sentimental and amazing,” Glasnow said. “But I think that’s kind of something I’ll look back on more and focus on and really feel the feelings of it maybe when this is all done. I’m just trying to go to work and do well.”

### Series Challenges and Strategy

Toronto played three consecutive road games in the ALCS against Seattle, winning two and losing one, eventually winning the series in seven games to secure their first World Series appearance since 1993.

“Starting pitching is going to be important for both sides, and guys that can throw multiple innings are going to be important in these next three days,” Blue Jays manager John Schneider said. “But I think especially against this team, you want to try to wear down their starters and get into their ‘pen.”

The Dodgers’ bullpen struggled in September, posting a 5.26 ERA — the third-worst in the National League that month. Their relievers blew multiple late leads and surrendered 12 home runs.

In Game 2, Los Angeles received critical length from starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who became the first pitcher since Mike Clevinger in 2023 to throw consecutive complete games at any point, and the first to do so in the postseason since Curt Schilling in 2001. There hadn’t been a complete game in the World Series since 2015.

“It starts with the starters going deeper,” Roberts said. “Three in a row is very important to vary reliever looks and kind of get the optimum matchups that you can.”

Roberts also mentioned plans to limit hard-throwing rookie Roki Sasaki’s usage to the ninth inning.

### Intensity and Focus

Scherzer’s performance has tapered in recent years as he has battled injuries, but his intensity remains high. Schneider recalled their fiery exchange during the ALCS start when he visited the mound.

“I’m going to try to avoid any mound visits with Max tomorrow,” Schneider said.

### Bo Bichette Returns to Starting Lineup

Toronto’s Bo Bichette will start at second base on Monday. He grounded out as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning of Game 2’s 5-1 loss and stayed in the game at second base.

“Felt good coming out of yesterday,” Schneider said. “I think with each day that goes on, he’ll probably get as close to normal as he can at this stage of the year.”

Bichette, a two-time All-Star shortstop, played second base in Friday’s opener, marking his first time at that position since a game at Triple-A in 2019. He went 1-for-2 with a walk in the Dodgers’ 11-4 win in Game 1, his first action since spraining his knee on Sept. 6 against the Yankees.

“I have such respect for him because he’s changing positions right now at this stage where everything is really important,” said Toronto teammate Andrés Giménez, who previously switched from second base to shortstop. “He’s showing that he can play second at a good level. He showed you the other day with the backhand play that was really difficult.”

The stage is set for a thrilling three days at Dodger Stadium as both teams vie to take control of the World Series. Fans can expect fierce competition, strategic pitching, and memorable moments as baseball’s biggest prize hangs in the balance.

Bunker Hill to acquire Ranger-Page mines, boosting Silver Valley exploration

Bunker Hill Mining (BNKR: CA) (OTCQB: BHLL) has entered into an asset purchase agreement with Silver Dollar Resources (Idaho) to acquire the Ranger-Page property. This property includes six past-producing underground high-grade silver-lead-zinc mines.

Under the terms of the agreement, Bunker Hill will acquire the Ranger-Page property, expanding its portfolio of valuable mining assets. This acquisition presents a significant opportunity to tap into historically productive mines with substantial mineral resources.

Why Bold & Beautiful Fans Think Luna & Sheila May Soon Join Forces

Fans of *The Bold and the Beautiful* can’t stop talking about the latest developments involving Luna Nozawa and Sheila Carter, also known as Sheila Sharpe. The soap has recently delivered plenty of drama, secrets, and confessions, leading many viewers to believe that an unexpected alliance between these two women might be on the horizon.

Given how the storyline is unfolding, there’s a strong argument that Luna Nozawa and Sheila Carter could soon be working together—however uneasy or surprising that partnership may seem. But will Sheila and Luna actually team up in the upcoming episodes of *The Bold & the Beautiful*?

Recent episodes have dropped some major bombshells. Things are rapidly going downhill for Deacon Sharpe and Sheila Carter. Deacon is opening up to his kids and growing closer to psychiatrist Taylor Hayes, signaling a shift in his personal life. Meanwhile, Sheila continues to claim she’s changed, but fans remain skeptical given her long history of revenge and unpredictable emotions. Many believe it’s only a matter of time before she reverts to her old ways—especially once Deacon finally calls it quits.

While Sheila’s world seems to be falling apart, trouble is brewing behind bars for Luna Nozawa. Luna isn’t sitting idle in prison; she’s playing her cards smart. She’s been tugging at Will Spencer’s heartstrings, using their unborn child to gain sympathy and possibly secure an early release.

Word is, Bill Spencer and Katie Logan are already discussing the possibility of bringing Luna back to the Spencer estate. If Will succeeds in convincing them, Luna could find herself right back into the lives of the very people she once went after.

With Luna possibly out of prison and Sheila on shaky ground, it looks like the show is setting up a risky reunion. Fans are buzzing about what could happen if two of the soap’s most manipulative characters join forces. Sheila’s explosive temper combined with Luna’s cleverness could pose a serious threat to the Forresters, Logans, and Spencers.

It’s also important to remember that Sheila Carter is Luna Nozawa’s grandmother and has been quietly watching over and protecting her all along. This family connection adds another layer of intrigue to their potential alliance moving forward.

Stay tuned to *The Bold and the Beautiful* for all the twists and turns ahead!
