Skate. Season 2: Future Radical starts this December and will bring new skatable areas, fresh challenges, and more content for players to enjoy in San Vansterdam. We’ve got a full rundown of everything you can expect to see when you load into Skate.’s next season. Skate. Season 2 is going retro with an 80s theme, as revealed in the game’s new trailer. San Van has been appropriately covered in neon lights, and several of the new cosmetics lean into the unique look of 80s fashion. While exploring the map, players will find that new areas have been opened up, offering more areas to skate either alone or with friends. Speaking of friends, the multiplayer experience was a point of emphasis for the devs while working on Season 2. Own the Lot, a multiplayer mode from Skate 3, is being added in Season 2. In this mode, groups of two to four players work together to complete as many requests as possible within a time limit. Season 2 will also add voice chat support. When speaking with Skate. devs, they told me that overall stability was one of the most common criticisms from fans since the Early Access launch.
