MANILA, Philippines—Following its monumental win over Ateneo in triple overtime, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers continued their impressive run by defeating Far Eastern University (FEU) with a score of 92-80 on Wednesday.

The Growling Tigers dominated the struggling Tamaraws, improving their record to 5-1. With this victory, UST is now tied with National University at the top of the standings.

NBA: Kings’ Keegan Murray out with torn thumb ligament

SACRAMENTO, California — Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray will be sidelined for more than a month after injuring his left thumb in an exhibition game.

The Kings announced on Sunday that Murray has suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in his left thumb. The injury occurred during the first half of Friday night’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

RODRIGUEZ, Rizal—Juan Gomez de Liano made an impressive debut, registering a triple-double as Converge took advantage of Calvin Abueva’s absence to dominate Titan Ultra, 129-92, on Saturday in the PBA Philippine Cup at Ynares Center II.
