佳子さまは主催する日本工芸会の総裁を務めており、会場に並ぶ人形や陶芸など300点以上の作品を丁寧にご覧になりました。
伝統工芸の魅力を直に感じ取り、関係者との交流も行われた模様です。

はじめまして。ガクミカ取材班の学生記者で、福岡女子大学の「ともみ」です！
突然ですが、「アート展」と聞くと、どのように感じますか？静かな空間で、訪れた人が黙々と展示物を見て、作者の意図を感じようとする……私はそんな、少しハードルが高いものだと考えていました。
ところが、福岡市科学館で開催中の「キボリノコンノ展 食べたい！木彫りアートの世界」は、あっと驚く作品ばかり。誰かについ話したくなる、そんなアート展でした！
## 木彫りで本物そっくりの作品を生み出すアーティスト「キボリノコンノ」さんの作品展
さっそく、会場の様子をご紹介します。
最初に目に入ったのは、大きなポスターの横にある木彫りのチーズトーストです。特にチーズの伸びている部分には驚かされました！ 表から見ると薄く見えますが、実は2センチもの厚さがあるんです。
伸びている部分にはグレーの絵の具を塗ることで、表面からは薄く見せる工夫がされています。木彫りの技術はもちろんですが、色の塗り方までこだわられていて、この展覧会に一気に引き込まれました。
## 撮影自由で楽しさアップ！ 写真の撮り方のコツも紹介
展覧会といえば「撮影禁止」が多いですが、ここでは自由に写真を撮ってもOK。さらに、よりリアルに見える撮り方のコツまで掲示されていて、楽しさが倍増します。
写真があまり得意でない私でも、うまく撮ることができました。中でも印象的だったのは、木の板の上にある生卵。目の前で見ても、自分で撮った写真で見返しても、あまりのリアルさに感動しました！
家に帰ってからも写真を見返して楽しめるアート展って、素敵ですよね。
## 「きぼりはどっち？」で挑戦！ 本物と木彫りの見分けクイズ
私が最も時間をかけて楽しんだのは、「きぼりはどっち？」というコーナー。ここでは、本物と木彫りが並んでいて、どちらが木彫りか当てるブースです。
これが本当に難しく、12問中4問は間違えてしまいました。例えば、19粒のコーヒー豆の中から木彫りの1粒を見つける問題がありました。こんなにもコーヒー豆と向き合ったのは初めての経験です！
軟らかそうに見えるのに触ると木の硬い感触だったり、本物の食べ物と見比べたりと、暮らしに身近なものが木彫りの作品になっている不思議さに、わくわくさせられました。
## 気軽に楽しめる新しいアート体験
「アート展」と聞くと、落ち着いた雰囲気で、美術に精通していないと楽しめないのでは？と思っていた私。
しかし「キボリノコンノ展」では、あまり難しいことを考えずに、作品を見る・触る・間違いを探すといった体験を通じて、作者の世界観を味わうことができました。
ひとりでじっくり楽しむのもよし、家族や友人と一緒に見るのもよし。後から写真を見返して誰かに共有するのもよし。いろいろな楽しみ方ができると思います！

秋の高山祭の「宵祭」で、ちょうちんをともして進む伝統的な屋台＝9日夜、岐阜県高山市
岐阜県飛騨地方の伝統行事「秋の高山祭」が9日、高山市で始まりました。
日没後には「宵祭」が開催され、おはやしの音が響く中、約100個のちょうちんをともした伝統的な屋台10台が街中に繰り出しました。
だいだい色のちょうちんが灯る屋台は、城下町の秋の夜を美しく照らし、多くの見物客で賑わいました。

After watching her acclaimed solo play *Broken Images*, the institute’s President, Victoria Kraner, personally invited Shabana Azmi to visit the school and conduct an acting masterclass for NYU theatre students. This marks a historic moment, as Azmi is the first Indian actor ever to receive such an invitation from the institution regarded as the mecca of acting.
When this writer reached out to the incomparable Shabana Azmi in the US, she expressed surprise. She said, “How did you get to know this so quickly? Yes, I have been invited to hold a masterclass at Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. How do I react to this honour? Like I do to all recognition. Just keep working, and never stop to admire yourself. And if the recognition for your work does our country proud, then I am happy.”
