In a special collaboration, the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) have partnered with mobile digital theatre pioneer PictureTime Digiplex to install state-of-the-art inflatable cinemas in the upcoming 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. SRK classics and 12th Fail to screen in inflatable theatres at IFFI 2025 Known for bringing cutting-edge inflatable cinemas across the country, and especially in underserved regions, PictureTime will be setting up a state-of-the-art theatre at the prestigious Kala Academy campus-one of the festival’s main event hubs. The 2025 edition of IFFI will begin on November 20 and close on November 28. The inflatable theatre will screen a vibrant mix of titles across four categories: Inspirational Films, Indian Panorama Classics, Nostalgia, and Children’s Cinema. For the first time ever, three Shah Rukh Khan classics Chak De! India, Darr, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge will be showcased in the inflatable cinemas. Joining them are Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s acclaimed 12th Fail, the Malayalam blockbuster Manjummel Boys, Rajkummar Rao’s Srikanth, Rani Mukerji’s Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai, Mira Nair’s Salaam Bombay! Sweetwater Police announce enhanced security measures at Dolphin Mall ahead of holiday shopping season
SWEETWATER, FLA. (WSVN) — With the holiday shopping season approaching, Sweetwater Police announced they’re increasing security around Dolphin Mall to prevent any Grinches from ruining Christmas.
“My officers are ready,” said Sweetwater Police Chief Sergio Diaz.
The department kicked off what they’re calling “Operation Safe Holiday” at Dolphin Mall with a stern warning to potential criminals looking to snatch items off store shelves.
“The City of Sweetwater has zero tolerance, I repeat, zero tolerance,” said Diaz.
The operation will include ramped-up safety measures, such as increased usage of drones, cameras, motorcycles, and an overall greater presence of officers across the city for the next seven weeks.
“We have officers in patrol cars. We have officers undercover, both inside and outside the mall,” Diaz added.
While this is the third year the department has executed this operation at Dolphin Mall, this year is different as officers unveiled a new state-of-the-art mobile command center. The large truck will serve as a central hub for coordination, surveillance, and rapid response by authorities.
The chief credited past holiday security measures for a decrease in overall crime in the city.
“Citywide, our crime went down last year by 34%. The added police presence during the holidays is what makes a difference,” said Diaz.
Chief Diaz also had sound advice for shoppers looking to get a head start on their holiday wish lists: “Lock your cars. Do not leave your items inside the cars and come inside and shop.”
The enhanced security measures will be in place through January 4.

Ashwini Vaishnaw reviews facilities at newly built Yatri Suvidha Kendra in Delhi
The state-of-the-art Yatri Suvidha Kendra, designed to accommodate around 7,000 passengers simultaneously, aims to improve pre-boarding comfort and passenger flow, especially during the festive season when travel volumes surge.
Speaking at the inspection, Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, “The newly developed Yatri Suvidha Kendra will provide great comfort to passengers during the festival season, as there is a surge in passenger volume. Similar facilities will be developed at other stations across the country.”
The Yatri Suvidha Kendra has been thoughtfully divided into three dedicated zones: Pre-Ticketing, Ticketing, and Post-Ticketing, covering a total area of over 5,200 square metres. The design aims to decongest entry points and streamline passenger movement.
### Modern Facilities and Passenger Amenities
The Kendra is equipped with a range of modern infrastructure and passenger-centric amenities, including:
– **Ticketing Facilities:** 22 ticket counters and 25 Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs).
– **Comfort & Capacity:** Seating for 200 passengers and 18 High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) fans for effective cooling.
– **Sanitation & Water:** A 652 sq. m. toilet block and an RO-based drinking water system.
– **Information Systems:** 24 speakers for announcements, three LED train information displays, and seven fire-fighting units.
– **Security Measures:** 18 CCTV cameras, five luggage scanners, and five Door Frame Metal Detectors (DFMDs).
The Northern Railway undertook the project while overcoming multiple structural and logistical challenges, including relocating ATMs, police cabins, hoardings, and essential utilities such as water lines and optical fibre cables—all without disrupting ongoing station operations.
Additionally, the extension of Foot Over Bridge 1 (FOB 1) was completed alongside the project. This extension enables smoother passenger movement from platforms directly toward the Metro Station, significantly enhancing last-mile connectivity.
Minister Vaishnaw was accompanied by Railway Board Chairman and CEO Satish Kumar, Northern Railway General Manager Ashok Kumar Verma, and other senior officials during the inspection. They briefed the minister on the project’s execution and features.
