Dispatch quickly became one of the breakout hits of 2025, receiving critical acclaim and solidifying a successful debut for AdHoc Studios. It turns out that the game’s success has also had a major impact on Bershy, a singer featured on the game’s soundtrack. After nearly retiring from music, she says that Dispatch changed her life. Bershy, an independent musician, posted a statement on Instagram over the weekend to thank AdHoc Studio and Dispatch fans for all of the love her 2022 song “Radio” has been receiving since it was featured in the interactive narrative game. “Two weeks ago I didn’t really think I’d make music again,” she wrote. “Now, radio just passed 4. 5 million streams. Numbers feel weird, but hearing that my song made any kind of impact.. that’s fucking cool.” She went on to say that Dispatch and its developer, AdHoc Studio “just changed my life.” The official Instagram account for AdHoc Studio commented on Bershy’s post. “You’re getting the love you deserve! Radio has been on our internal project playlist since it came out, and we’re super grateful that you allowed us to use it in the game.” Light spoilers for Dispatch Episode 6 ahead. “Radio” can be heard in Episode 6 of Dispatch, during the housewarming party at Robert’s apartment. The song is queued up by Invisigal, and you can actually see the song’s title and artwork on her phone very briefly. The scene that follows is a montage of celebration and planning as the group plots their next move. Robert dances with either Invisigal or Blonde Blazer during the scene, depending on who the player has been romancing up to that point.

That Massive ‘Now You See Me 3’ Spoiler Cameo Almost Didn’t Happen
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t performed a magic trick at the box office this weekend, taking the #1 spot over the much-hyped remake of The Running Man starring Glen Powell. It seems audiences are very much in the mood to keep seeing the Four Horsemen perform the kind of wild, Robin Hood-esque stunts this star-studded franchise is all about. And it’s likely to continue. Not only has director Ruben Fleischer already begun chipping away at a fourth film, but the film itself ends with a big, surprise tease towards what’s next. Though, according to Fleischer, it almost didn’t happen. To explain, we have to get into spoilers. Going into its release, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t seemed to be missing two crucial ingredients. One was Lizzy Caplan, who took over for Isla Fisher on the second movie due to scheduling. The second was Mark Ruffalo, whose detective-turned-magic-leader has always been at the center of the action. Well, one of Now You See Me 3‘s first big tricks is bringing Caplan back mid-movie, and then, for its final reveal, Ruffalo returns too. Only, not how you’d expect. “The biggest challenge with Mark is his schedule,” Fleischer told Variety. “He’s a very busy guy, and so he was only able to be in the film because we did some reshoots this summer. He wasn’t originally available over the course of principal photography. He actually wasn’t even available during our reshoots, but I was lucky to catch him for a day in New York, and we shot him against a green screen. That’s why he’s a hologram, as opposed to entering into the scene. We took what we could get.” Yes, at the end of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, Ruffalo’s character Dylan Rhodes, who the film explains early on is in jail, appears as a holographic message to the Horsemen and their new counterparts. He teases that all that’s happened is to The Eye’s liking (that’s the massive magic society he seems to run), but now this new group has more to do. Which, we assume, would be the plot of a fourth movie. How that tease would’ve happened if Ruffalo wasn’t available, we don’t know. But getting him to appear in the movie at all does feel like the final piece of the puzzle that keeps this installment as relevant as the rest. We hope they all come together again, and fast. Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan, Morgan Freeman, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is now in theaters. Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe review: A welcome reunion with the homies
Here at Shacknews, I’ve talked about *Atelier* a few times. GUST and Koei Tecmo’s item synthesis and cozy vibes RPG series has had a lot of ups and downs over the past few decades.
If you’ve read my previous reviews, you might have a skewed perspective, as the most recent outing was a big down, and the one before was, excuse the cliché, a mixed bag. But dial the clock back just a bit more, and you have the current peak of Atelier mountain: Ryza. This time, we get to talk about Ryza. Banger, banger, banger.
—
### The Ryza Trilogy: A Rare Direct Sequel Success
Atelier games typically come in loose trilogies, usually tied together by a theme, a location, or—very rarely—an actual character. Ryza, which started in 2017 with *Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout*, ended up being a whole set of direct sequels, a rare move for this series.
That’s because Ryza was such a hit, especially thanks to the debuting Nintendo Switch that year and a craze for physical copies that were constantly selling out. The series broke containment in a way GUST didn’t seem to be expecting.
You can trace that success not only to how the series evolves in the Ryza trilogy, but also to how *Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout* was a massive expansion in scope. Its sequels maintained that momentum, capturing lightning in a bottle and nourishing it across two sequels in a way few series can—especially in a niche where resources are inherently limited.
—
### What Makes Ryza So Great?
It’s a little tough to quantify what’s so great about the Ryza series. A certain sect of the fanbase will say “thighs,” which is valid I guess, but there’s a lot more to it than that.
Ryza herself is a character with compelling energy in a series where most Atelier protagonists tend to be a little more quaint and low energy. Ryza is a go-getter who accidentally stumbles into alchemy as a side effect of a desperate want for adventure, and that’s a fun dynamic for a cozy game.
Meanwhile, the trilogy itself is an excellent use case for what a trilogy can be from a storytelling perspective. You can feel the passage of time—from how these characters’ lives develop, to their relationships with each other and even the spaces they live in.
It hits differently if you binge the trilogy rather than waiting the years between each release, but there’s still an emotional weight when, in the third game, you retrace your steps and reminisce about the past.
—
### Gameplay Evolution and Nostalgia
With how much the gameplay systems change and evolve across the trilogy, there’s a transformative wonder in how differently you interact with these spaces as well. It’s like going back home after moving away, mentally tracking how different everything is, and processing the emotions those differences stir.
It’s good stuff, on top of the usual Atelier fare such as grinding numbers, bopping cute enemies with a creative and evolving combat system, and growing from making weak, crappy items to synthesizing a cartoony-ass bomb that could probably level a building.
These are special games, and I’d suggest anyone who is into RPGs but has been unsure about where to start with Atelier to jump in right here. Just be prepared to keep chasing that high for now, as GUST is still figuring things out.
—
### What’s Deluxe About It, Then?
Another tradition in the world of *Atelier* is the DX branding. After a series wraps up, GUST returns to it later with a set of re-releases that make tweaks, add additional content, collect DLC for “free,” and let players snag a whole trilogy for an overall discount.
This was great for collectors too—especially for the growing Switch community at the time—because you could import physical copies of previous trilogies, getting a whole set of games on one cartridge that included English language options and all the additional extras.
Now it’s Ryza’s turn.
Like before, you can catch up on the Ryza trilogy if you missed it earlier, at a lower price point and with additional features such as new story content, new playable characters, secret bosses, and more. It’s a great deal and even a decent deal for Atelier fans willing to double dip.
—
### The Console Generation Crossover
What’s interesting here is the weird intersection of console generations that happened between the first Ryza and its sequels—and in Nintendo’s case, after as well.
Being a smaller developer in the grand scheme of things, GUST is known for fun, breezy, and beautiful games, but not necessarily for fidelity and performance at the top of the line. But the Ryza DX series came with a unique opportunity, especially for the first game.
—
### FPS Dreams, Shattered
*Atelier Ryza 1* runs beautifully on PlayStation 5. Having a classic *Atelier* game that looks this good and runs smoothly is a wonderful thing, and a great excuse to upgrade from the PS4 version without a doubt.
On the Switch 2, however, you’re capped at a locked 30 frames per second. The tradeoff is that it runs with more muscle in the lighting and reflection department than the original Switch version, and it’s clearly running at 1080p in handheld mode — all while maintaining that locked 30 fps without breaking a sweat.
So it looks amazing and doesn’t have those weird jitters the recent *Persona 3 Reload* port suffers from. But as a game with some hybridized real-time elements in its turn-based combat system, that frame rate on PlayStation looks *really* good.
Sadly, there’s no option to choose performance mode at the expense of some visual upgrades, considering the Switch 1 version is playable and runs at a smooth, locked 30 fps on Switch 2 as well.
—
### Performance on Ryza 2 and 3
Performance concerns are less significant for *Ryza 2* and *3*, which were already released on PS5 and were finicky there to begin with. For example, the PS5 version of *Ryza 2* can run at 60 fps in performance mode, but you have to manually limit the resolution output in the console UI to get there.
Having these run at a smooth 30 fps on Switch 2 is a welcome outcome—expecting 60 fps on Switch 2 would have been foolish.
Overall, it’s a strangely fun exercise in going back over history, tracking how things can change across hardware releases, managing expectations, and finding what to appreciate.
*Ryza 1* is the only bummer part, and even then it’s still an improvement.
—
### Looking Ahead
Hopefully as time goes on, we can have more stable expectations for Nintendo Switch 2 ports. As of now, it still feels like the Wild West.
And don’t get me started on the physical aspect—that’s a whole other issue and not as relevant to this review.
—
### Final Thoughts
Ultimately, the *Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe* series is a treat for fans and a brilliant new way for possible newcomers to jump into the best the Atelier series currently has to offer.
It’s a perfect way to try *Atelier* for the first time, especially since you don’t have to buy the whole trilogy upfront if you don’t want to. But it’s an excellent deal considering the new content and upgrades.
Even if the Switch 2 version isn’t the perfect edition I had in mind, it’s still a great chunk of RPG goodness for the new console.
Regardless of the platform, Ryza’s three-part adventure was a big deal the first time around for real reasons—and the DX version only serves as reinforcement.
—
### Availability
The *Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack* is available on November 13, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2.
A Switch 2 code was provided by the publisher for this review.

General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy’s France Trip Cut Short, Drew Must Pay for Abandoning Ned in Crisis
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) trip to France may be cut short due to a family emergency unfolding back home. Fans can expect Tracy to vow that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) must pay for abandoning Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) during his time of crisis.
Decades ago, Tracy famously denied Edward Quartermaine (David Lewis) his medication after he faked a heart attack to test her. In a similar vein, Drew accused Ned of faking his own heart attack in GH’s November 10 episode, dismissing it as a classic Quartermaine stunt. However, Drew should have checked more carefully to see if Ned was truly in medical distress during their latest confrontation.
It was cruel of Drew to just walk away while Ned visibly struggled in pain, especially considering that Tracy was the one who found Drew after he was shot. Tracy showed compassion by calling 911 immediately, a move that saved Drew’s life that night. Now, when Tracy hears that Drew abandoned Ned in his time of need, she’s going to be absolutely livid.
No matter how many stunts Drew pulls, he always manages to hit a new low. Ned had mentioned that Tracy was off on a spa getaway in France, which was understandable given all the drama surrounding Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will. Tracy deserved a chance to celebrate her victory regarding the house and take a breather from the chaos in Port Charles.
Of course, Tracy’s trip may come to an abrupt end once she learns about Ned’s ordeal. This could lead to her racing back home to check on Ned and plotting revenge against Drew. It’s easy to imagine Tracy confronting Drew and accusing him of knowingly walking away while Ned needed real medical assistance.
Tracy may also remind Drew of the night she saved his life and wish she could go back and undo it. Perhaps she will argue that she won’t make the mistake of showing Drew mercy again and promise that he will pay for his latest act of family disloyalty.
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Tracy and Drew will inevitably clash over this Ned mess, so stay tuned for their next intense faceoff.

LEGO The Legend of Zelda set coming in 2026
Nintendo Partners with LEGO for New The Legend of Zelda Set Releasing in 2026
Nintendo has teamed up with LEGO once again to bring fans an exciting new set based on The Legend of Zelda. Scheduled for release in 2026, this upcoming set will feature the iconic Hero of Time, Link, in a brand-new LEGO figure.
Earlier today, Nintendo gave fans a sneak peek of the Zelda LEGO set through a video posted on social media. This preview offers the first look at the new LEGO Link figure, showcasing the blond protagonist in his classic green tunic and hat. The figure comes equipped with the legendary Master Sword and Hylian Shield, with a fairy floating beside him—adding a charming touch to the design.
This will mark the second LEGO set inspired by The Legend of Zelda franchise. Last year, LEGO released a set centered around the Great Deku Tree, which included minifigures of both Link and Princess Zelda. Beyond Zelda, LEGO has also created sets featuring other beloved Nintendo characters such as Mario, Bowser, and Donkey Kong.
Currently, Nintendo has provided a link to the official LEGO store page for this collaboration; however, the page is not yet live and returns an error code. As for additional details on what the new Legend of Zelda LEGO set will include beyond the Link figure, fans will need to wait for further announcements.

Lumines Arise review: Hip to make squares
Enhance has been making games for many years, but the team cemented its place on the gaming map with its unique blend of puzzle gameplay and stirring musical accompaniment. *Tetris Effect* remains a generation-defining reinvention of a classic franchise. Building on that success, Enhance has now given the same treatment to *Lumines* with their latest release, *Lumines Arise*.
### Make the Beat Drop
*Lumines Arise* follows the series’ formula of creating 2×2 squares of matching patterns, aiming to clear as much of the board as possible. Like the best puzzle games, the speed and intensity ramp up as the game progresses, keeping players on their toes.
In Journey Mode, players navigate through five distinct sections, each requiring a certain number of squares to advance. The game starts off gently but becomes increasingly challenging as the play area shrinks in the later stages.
While the puzzle mechanics alone are a winner, *Lumines Arise* follows in *Tetris Effect*’s footsteps by wrapping the gameplay in a breathtakingly beautiful visual package. Backgrounds feel fully immersive, featuring scenes ranging from a remote beach and snowy cabin to a tropical rainforest with head-bopping chameleons and a bustling neon-lit metropolis.
Each stage pulses and moves in time with the music, making it easy to get lost in the rhythm—sometimes to the point of losing track of gameplay details. Even on Easy difficulty, Journey Mode offers a satisfying challenge, especially for players new to the *Lumines* formula who might think making squares is simple.
### Visuals and Accessibility
Some stages like Mirror Ball or Digital Human amp up the visual effects heavily, creating dazzling but occasionally distracting displays. While these flashy effects are impressive, they can overwhelm, especially by default. Fortunately, Enhance includes a comprehensive set of accessibility options to tone down the intensity and make visuals more subtle. This is particularly helpful in the game’s VR mode.
Accessibility settings also add useful modifiers to reduce game stress. Players can adjust whether blocks fall automatically and enable a No Fail option alongside various difficulty settings that influence game speed.
Camera distance can be tweaked to lessen the intensity of visual effects, aiding players sensitive to sensory overload. The game also offers toggles to disable spiders and snakes, catering to those with related phobias. Additionally, a photosensitivity warning appears at startup to prepare players for the visual experience.
### All Together Now
The core experience in *Lumines Arise* is the Journey Mode, but there are additional ways to enjoy the game. Missions present specific challenges, such as clearing squares within a limited number of moves or completing more unconventional objectives. Some missions feature falling towers or even Tetris-shaped pieces—an enjoyable nod to Enhance’s previous puzzle success.
Another key feature is multiplayer, which offers a handful of modes. Burst Battle is the main competitive mode, where players clear as many squares as possible while sending “garbage blocks” to opponents. Players can customize their preferred background and music tracks here.
The Leaderboard League adds Time Attack challenges and a mode called Dig Down, which tasks players with managing a rising tide of blocks. While these additional modes are entertaining, their limited variety means they can lose appeal over time.
One standout aspect of *Arise*’s multiplayer and overall presentation is its sense of community. Weekend events encourage the entire player base to participate by playing any multiplayer mode. The more completed games, the greater the contribution to a worldwide goal—such as gathering Light to build a giant Vision construct. All participants earn rewards to customize their Pon avatar.
The multiplayer hub, main menu, and even the end of Journey Mode all feature NPC Pon avatars representing every player who has logged in, creating a lively, festive atmosphere that enhances the social experience.
### The Soundtrack: Lumines Arise’s Defining Feature
Music lies at the heart of *Lumines Arise*. The soundtrack by Hydelic spans a vibrant mix of genres including techno, house, rap, and LoFi beats. The tunes synchronize beautifully with the game’s moving Timeline that clears completed squares and the ever-moving backgrounds.
Players aren’t required to play on the beat—instead, the beat plays with them. If a background song speeds up, so does the Timeline, adding an exhilarating toe-tapping challenge.
### Press Play
Like *Tetris Effect* before it, *Lumines Arise* is as much a musical experience as a gaming one. Without its stellar soundtrack, the game wouldn’t work nearly as well. Luckily, it boasts an array of bangers that power both Journey Mode and multiplayer sessions.
Enhance also provides a Playlist mode, allowing players to arrange songs and their associated backgrounds to their personal liking.
As someone more inclined toward Tetris, I hadn’t been a big *Lumines* fan—until now. *Lumines Arise* is an absolute triumph. The visuals are among Enhance’s best, blending the power of Unity with their proprietary Synaesthesia Engine.
The game is wildly fun and surprisingly challenging in spots, but above all, it is a relaxing pleasure. So sit back, unwind, and let the beat drop.
