The photos showcase the couple hugging, holding hands, and savoring tender moments together. The bride wore a custom hand-draped satin halter-neck dress adorned with intricate embroidery and carried a delicate bouquet of lily of the valley. The groom chose a classic black tuxedo. Both outfits were designed by Ralph Lauren. Selena completed her elegant look with stunning platinum-and-diamond earrings from Tiffany & Co.

The ceremony took place at Sea Crest Nursery and was attended by about 170 family members and close friends. Additional security ensured the event remained private and secure. According to a Vogue report, huge white tents were set up to host food, dancing, and celebrations that lasted well into the night.

Selena and Benny’s wedding brought together some of Hollywood’s biggest names. The guest list reportedly featured around 170 A-listers from the worlds of music, film, and fashion. One of the first to arrive was singer Taylor Swift, who was spotted touching down in California ahead of the festivities and joined other notable attendees.

Tennessee escapes Mississippi State in overtime 41-34

Wow. The Tennessee Volunteers defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs 41-34 in overtime in a game that’s hard to wrap your head around.

Joey Aguilar was 24-of-40 passing for 335 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions—both of which came after the ball bounced off Miles Kitselman’s hands and flew into the air. DeSean Bishop led Tennessee on the ground with 72 yards on 11 carries and scored the go-ahead 25-yard touchdown in overtime. Mike Matthews had six catches for 118 yards, while Chris Brazzell II caught six passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.

This was a game full of errors and missed opportunities, beginning when Tennessee’s Braylon Staley muffed a punt. Mississippi State recovered at the UT 20-yard line and quickly capitalized, taking just five plays to reach the end zone and grab a 7-0 lead.

After a Tennessee field goal and some defensive punts, Colton Hood intercepted Blake Shapen and returned it 23 yards for a touchdown. Mississippi State responded with two lengthy drives, taking a 17-10 lead in the second quarter.

But Tennessee answered back with a quick, four-play, 75-yard drive, capped by a 15-yard touchdown catch from Brazzell, tying the game at 17. Max Gilbert missed a field goal later in the half, and both teams went into halftime knotted up at 17.

Tennessee opened the second half with a long field goal drive, but Mississippi State missed a field goal on their next possession. Aguilar’s first interception of the game gave the Bulldogs a short field, and they took advantage with a 1-yard touchdown run by Fluff Bothwell to go up 24-20.

Early in the fourth quarter near midfield, Mississippi State converted a fake punt on 4th-and-7 and seemed poised to extend their lead. However, on the very next play, Tyre West broke around the edge and sacked Shapen, forcing a fumble. Joshua Josephs scooped up the loose ball and returned it to give Tennessee a 27-24 lead.

After a State field goal, Aguilar’s second tipped interception handed the Bulldogs yet another short field. Once again, Mississippi State capitalized with a 2-yard touchdown pass to take a 34-27 advantage with eight minutes left.

But Aguilar and the Volunteers’ offense responded with one of their best drives of the season. They marched 75 yards on 13 plays in just over six minutes, finishing with a designed 6-yard quarterback run by Aguilar to tie the game with two minutes remaining.

Tennessee quickly forced a three-and-out and got the ball back at their own 26-yard line with 1:23 left and all three timeouts intact. Unfortunately, Josh Heupel’s clock management during the final drive was, quite simply, atrocious. The Volunteers moved 30 yards to just past midfield with four seconds left and two timeouts remaining, but a final Hail Mary fell incomplete, sending the game into overtime.

In overtime, Bishop’s 25-yard touchdown run on the first play gave Tennessee the lead. Although Mississippi State advanced to first-and-goal at the six-yard line, Tennessee’s defense stiffened — a rarity for Saturday. They broke up a fourth-down pass in the end zone, sealing the Volunteers’ 41-34 victory.

Tennessee now heads into a much-needed bye week. So, Vol fans, breathe easy—a win is a win. But there’s clearly a lot to work on after today’s rollercoaster of a game.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco pose for romantic wedding photos as they share first look inside weekend extravaganza

Selena Gomez shared a collection of romantic photos with music producer Benny Blanco on Saturday, offering a glimpse into their wedding weekend. Gomez, 33, is set to say “I do” to Blanco, 37, in a ceremony at the Sea Crest Nursery — a 70-acre private plantation in Goleta, California, dotted with palm trees and cycads.

The pictures were taken at the Friday night rehearsal dinner, held at a country mansion in Goleta’s upscale Hope Ranch neighborhood, a sprawling 1,863-acre estate in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains. Guests included Gomez’s longtime friend Taylor Swift, as well as her *Only Murders in the Building* co-stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Paul Rudd, plus Paris Hilton.

In the new images, Gomez can be seen gazing adoringly at her bridegroom as they pose together under the streaming sunlight on the lawn of the venue. She wore a backless white dress featuring ruffled floral detailing around the halter neckline and ruched accents that added a touch of flair. Wearing her dark hair in a lush bob, the bride-to-be completed her look with glittering jewelry and white nail polish to complement the dress.

Blanco, who has been with Gomez since 2023, opted for a classic black Ralph Lauren tuxedo paired with a blue print dress shirt and a matching pocket square. The barefoot couple was photographed holding hands and strolling across the lawn, as well as cuddling up to one another in the run-up to their big day.

In an especially heartwarming shot, Blanco lay back resting on his bride’s lap as she sat on the grass with her dress artfully fanned out around her. Gomez also posed solo, sitting on the grass and beaming with anticipation as she held her bridal bouquet up to her face, catching a whiff of its aroma. The happy couple shared tender moments gazing into each other’s eyes before Gomez wrapped her arms around Blanco and drew him in for a kiss.

Most of their 170-strong guest list is being accommodated at the El Encanto luxury spa resort in Santa Barbara and will be bussed to the main events. The upscale hotel, owned by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen, starts at $1,000 per night and is sold out for the weekend.

Meanwhile, the palatial mansion where the rehearsal dinner was held sits on a seven-acre lot, was built in the 1930s, and is currently owned by insurance executive Greg Econn, according to records. Gomez’s wedding venue, the Sea Crest Nursery plantation, is perched on a clifftop bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. On Friday, contractors were seen setting up a series of marquees. Photos taken by the Daily Mail show tubs of decorative blooms arranged around the tents, while strings of fairy lights promise to provide a romantic glow.

Security increased as Friday wore on, with Gomez reportedly spending $300,000 to keep her nuptials safe.

Among the notable guests attending the ceremony is Taylor Swift, who flew in alone from Kansas City earlier today. The blonde superstar, who promised Gomez she would be her flower girl after the engagement announcement, is staying at the glamorous Rosewood Miramar in the celebrity enclave of Montecito. The upscale property boasts rooms overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the golden sands of Miramar Beach, with accommodations starting at $1,014 per night.

Despite the romantic hotel choice, Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, was unable to attend due to the Kansas City Chiefs facing the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

Gomez and Blanco have had a relatively short engagement, having announced their wedding plans in early December on Instagram. The announcement post was captioned, “Forever begins now,” alongside a carousel of photos that included a close-up of Gomez’s stunning marquise-cut solitaire diamond engagement ring. Other photos showed the beaming pair cuddled up together, and Gomez admiring her sparkler while seated on a picnic blanket next to a champagne bucket.

Gomez’s marriage to Virginia native Blanco marks a new chapter in her life, following a turbulent love life that included a high-profile relationship with Canadian singer Justin Bieber. Their on-again, off-again romance began in 2011 when Gomez was 18 and Bieber 16, ultimately ending for good in 2018, just months before Bieber married his now-wife Hailey Baldwin.

In a 2020 NPR interview, Gomez described that earlier relationship as toxic, saying, “I’m not being disrespectful. I do feel I was a victim to certain [emotional] abuse.”

Though Gomez and Blanco first met when they were teenagers, neither remembered the meeting. They only became close after collaborating on the March 2019 track *I Can’t Get Enough*. The video featured Blanco dressed as a white teddy bear, and the pair became friends, but romance didn’t blossom until they worked together on *Single Soon*, Gomez’s August 2023 hit.

The collaboration sparked their relationship, and by December 2023, the couple confirmed they were dating. Gomez declared online that Blanco was “[the] best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end.”

The duo made their red carpet debut at the 2023 Emmy Awards. The following February, a smitten Blanco expressed his happiness during an interview with Zane Lowe on his Apple Music show, saying, “I’d have to say overall it’s the safest that I feel and it’s been really lovely and I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome.”

**A Role Close to Home**

Speaking to PTI, Bedi expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m very grateful to the Khan family for considering me and getting me into the show.” His portrayal of Jaraj Saxena has resonated deeply with viewers, capturing the pain and resilience experienced by many in the entertainment world.

“Life is looking beautiful,” Bedi remarked. “I’m excited that at least people will look at me optimistically, thinking I’ve done good work.”

Two years ago, Bedi made a significant move back to Mumbai from Canada with his family, a decision that has now started to bear fruit.

**Bringing Personal Pain to the Screen**

Bedi invested a piece of his own emotional journey into developing Jaraj Saxena’s character, which has struck a chord with many. He has received heartfelt appreciation from fellow actors including Harshvardhan Rane and Angad Bedi.

Vicky Pattison ‘petrified and feeling like a pudding’ after meeting Strictly’s pros who ‘look like they’ve been carved by angels’ – as she reveals the biggest threat to her place on show

Dressed in her sequinned finest and looking like a million dollars, “little pudding” is the last phrase that springs to mind when you see this season’s Strictly star Vicky Pattison. But that’s certainly how Vicky feels not long after “Big Dance Day,” when all the Strictly celebrities and professionals get together for the first time.

“You’re with the tiny professional female dancers carved by angels — they’re the most beautiful creatures — and you’re standing there like a little pudding in your gym kit. And that’s before you start dancing and realise how inept you are. I was in a state of shock,” is how former I’m A Celebrity queen Vicky, 37, puts it.

Vicky only has herself to blame either way, because she “manifested” taking part in the show. Two years ago, Vicky reveals, she created a vision board on which, amid the pictures of “wedding dresses, engagement rings, puppies and houses,” was a picture of ex-Hollyoaks actress and 2017 Strictly star Gemma Atkinson in sequins — with Vicky’s head stuck on top.

“I feel like a proper creep,” she laughs. “But I love a bit of manifestation.”

This year’s other contestants include Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, aka Gladiator Nitro; actors Alex Kingston, Stefan Dennis, Lewis Cope, and Balvinder Sopal; former footballers Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Karen Carney; drag artist La Voix; former rugby player Chris Robshaw; model Ellie Goldstein, who has Down’s syndrome; and TV personalities Thomas Skinner and Ross King.

Vicky’s Love Island winner pal Dani Dyer had also been set to take to the dancefloor, but she was forced to bow out on Tuesday after fracturing her ankle during a training session.

Although Vicky has a background in reality TV, she says she has “mixed feelings” about her time as one of the louder stars of the Newcastle-set MTV series *Geordie Shore*, in which she starred from 2011 to 2014.

“I’m grateful, but even at the time I didn’t always love it. I was always overthinking it, and at times I felt controlled and uncomfortable, and I coped by drinking more than I should. I was a kid really, and had a lot of growing up to do.”

Little wonder that Vicky has made a determined effort to branch out in recent years. While she entered the celebrity jungle in 2015 — emerging as queen — she has lately focused her energies on her podcast *Get A Grip* and documentaries, although she accepts that for some she will always be “just” a reality TV star.

“Some people are committed to the idea of who you were 15 years ago,” she says.

There are no worries about the so-called Strictly curse, in which happily married celebrity contestants fall for their professional partners. Paired with pro dancer Kai Widdrington, Vicky is blunt when asked if she worries she might get the hots for her partner.

“Have you seen my husband?” she says of businessman Ercan Ramadan, the clothing firm owner she married a year ago. “No offence to the dancers, they’re lovely lads, but he’s gorgeous and wonderful in every way.”

Not least because Vicky had a bumpy path to her happy ever after: following a number of short-lived relationships in her twenties, she was engaged to Newcastle businessman John Noble — only for that relationship to break down in 2018 amid rumours of his infidelity.

“I thought that was my happily ever after, and in some ways I felt I failed,” she says.

Fast forward a few months, and a semi-reluctant Vicky went on a date with Ercan after he messaged her on Instagram.

“I remember crying just before I was due to go,” she says. “But then boom. He went to the toilet, and I texted all my friends and said, ‘Buy a hat!'”

They moved in together eight months later, though they only finally married last year. By then, Vicky had frozen her eggs, a decision she says they made together early on in their relationship.

“I believed our relationship deserved a chance to develop naturally before the biological clock took over,” she says.

When she’ll make the leap to motherhood is up in the air, but it’s definitely off the agenda during Strictly.

“I think that’s enough of a challenge for now,” she says.

Vicky faces other challenges too. Two years ago, after years of battling horrendous symptoms that were continually ignored by professionals, she was diagnosed with PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), a debilitating condition that affects women of childbearing age.

Her experience has been so devastating that after going public she has become a campaigner for an end to what she calls “medical misogyny,” and recently wrote to Health Secretary Wes Streeting asking for a meeting to discuss the issue.

“He’s replied, and I’m due to meet him next month,” she reveals.

It’s clear how much what’s happened to her has taken its toll: her eyes fill with tears as she recalls her years-long struggle with symptoms.

“At its worst you totally lose yourself. I’m quite an outgoing, confident, happy woman, but that gets completely replaced with despair. You get heightened anxiety, exhaustion, insomnia, catastrophising, fear of everything. Nothing brings you joy.”

She pauses. “I’m actually going through it now.”

Could that mar her Strictly journey too?

“I don’t know,” she says. “I can’t control it. I was actually going through PMDD for both my weddings. But at the end of the day, joy won. And I hope it will again.”

In the meantime, her focus is on the practical stuff. She’s had advice from her podcast co-host and Strictly 2023 contestant Angela Scanlon, who urged her to start bathing her feet in surgical spirit, as well as “best pal” and Strictly 2024 alumnus Pete Wicks, who will be in the audience at some point.

“He was living on his nerves the entire time and as we have very similar personalities I’m trying to prepare myself for that,” she laughs.

Of course, nothing can really prepare you for that first moment of emerging onto the Strictly dance floor in front of a live audience.

*Strictly Come Dancing* returns tonight, 6.40pm, BBC1 and iPlayer.

Gangster drama | Review of Shreyas Rajagopal’s Gunboy

Fed up with the relentless beatings dished out by a local bully, an introverted boy takes extreme measures that threaten to tear apart his small town. Shreyas Rajagopal’s *Gunboy* begins on this somewhat templated note.

Our hero, Arvind, and his best friend, Sudipto, are used to being pummelled by Jaggi Ranade, who also happens to be the son of the incumbent mafia boss of the steel town of Rannwara. Luckily for us, what the book does with these familiar ingredients is both surprising at the plot level and refreshing in its treatment.

The book’s trump card is the character of Amar, the anti-hero to Arvind. While the reader roots for Arvind, they are constantly intrigued by Amar. Amar is a hitman with a fascinating personal story and a fetish for guns. An early character study chapter is basically just Amar cleaning his many guns while having a drink. It is his favourite weapon, a Beretta 9 mm with a custom grip finished in white and gold, that ends up in Arvind’s hands and transforms the novel into a tinderbox.

Rajagopal’s biggest strength is his characterisation. Both Arvind and Amar begin as archetypes, but through frequent flashbacks, we learn more about their beginnings, their motivations, and so on. The author also manages to communicate the texture of lived reality in small-town India exceptionally well.

For example, when Amar steps into a shady-looking hotel that’s most likely a hotspot for prostitution, the proprietor asks him not to bring a girl to the room because it’s not that kind of place. But as Rajagopal points out in the next line, his tenor and his eyes make it abundantly clear that it is exactly that kind of place.

In the wake of Anurag Kashyap’s iconic film *Gangs of Wasseypur*, there has been a string of Indian films and streaming shows — *Mirzapur*, *Bhaukaal*, *Garmi*, et al — that have sought to recapture the small-town gangsters formula. But very few have done it with the smarts and raw kinetic energy displayed by *Gunboy*.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced action thriller that doesn’t insult your intelligence, this is it.

*The reviewer is working on his first book of non-fiction.*

This exciting expansion will feature beloved characters, stories, and ships from across *Star Trek*’s many eras. More details will be revealed closer to the release date.

All these sets will be available both in physical form and on MTG Arena. Pre-orders for *Lorwyn Eclipsed* are available now at local retailers as well as on Amazon. Images from the *Lorwyn Eclipsed* set are being uploaded today on the official *Magic: The Gathering* website.

**About the Author:**
Ozzie has been passionate about video games since picking up his first NES controller at age five. His love for gaming only grew stronger over the years, despite a brief hiatus during college. With a background in QA at THQ and Activision—where he helped push forward the *Guitar Hero* series at its peak—Ozzie has developed a fondness for platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs. Above all, he’s a sucker for games with a compelling narrative because, as he puts it, “What are video games if you can’t enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?”
