Indore News: IET Seniors Forced Juniors To Create Fake Social Media Accounts, Vandalise Hostel

**Senior Students at IET Allegedly Coerce Juniors into Posting Defamatory Content and Vandalism**

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a shocking revelation, senior students at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) have allegedly forced their juniors to create fake social media accounts and post defamatory content against the institute and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV).

According to reports, the juniors were also compelled to vandalise hostel property, including CCTV cameras and DVRs.

The institute’s Anti-Ragging Committee initiated an investigation following complaints of alleged ragging. Preliminary findings suggest that final-year students coerced juniors into creating fake Instagram, X, and Facebook accounts. The juniors were instructed to make two to three posts daily targeting the institution.

Sources reveal that the seniors summoned the juniors to a café outside the campus, where they threatened them and issued strict instructions via a WhatsApp group. These instructions detailed the juniors’ conduct in the hostel as well as the content that needed to be posted online.

During the inquiry, mobile phone checks uncovered chat records confirming the seniors’ orders. The committee has identified final-year students Adarsh Makwana, Aditya Sharma, Aman Patel, and Vivek Sharma as the prime accused in this matter.

The Anti-Ragging Committee has recommended recovering damages from the juniors who carried out the vandalism. Meanwhile, the university has decided to file a formal complaint at Bhawarkuan police station over attempts to malign the institution’s reputation.

Police are currently conducting a detailed probe into the case. Further updates are awaited as the investigation progresses.

Tej Pratap warns, ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ awaits those insulting sisters

**Tej Pratap Warns, ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ Awaits Those Insulting Sisters**

*By Snehil Singh | Sep 21, 2025, 02:17 PM*

Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav, has issued a stern warning to anyone who insults his sisters. He cautioned that such individuals will face the “Sudarshan Chakra” of Lord Krishna.

This statement comes in the wake of a cryptic social media post by his sister, Rohini Acharya, on the platform X (formerly Twitter). In her post, Acharya wrote, *“I have fulfilled my duty and dharma as a daughter and a sister. For me, my self-respect is supreme.”*

### Social Media Speculation and Fallout

Rohini Acharya’s post has raised eyebrows across political circles, sparking speculation about her current relationship with the RJD. Adding to the intrigue, Acharya unfollowed all RJD leaders on social media and set her account to private.

Previously, she had publicly criticized a photograph showing Tejashwi Yadav’s aide Sanjay Yadav seated in the front seat of the party’s campaign van. Unconfirmed reports had suggested she was hoping to receive an Assembly election ticket, though party leadership has denied these claims.

### Family Support: Tej Pratap’s Response

Amidst the political turmoil, Tej Pratap Yadav has come out strongly in support of his sister. He said, *“Rohini is much older than me. As a child, I played in her lap.”*

He also highlighted her sacrifice, noting that she had donated a kidney to their father, Lalu Prasad Yadav. Tej Pratap affirmed, *“I am fully with my sister in the ongoing episode,”* and warned that anyone who insults her would have to face consequences.

### Rivals Seize the Opportunity

Political rivals have not missed the chance to target the RJD following Acharya’s post. Janata Dal (United) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar remarked, *“Rohini Acharya is a daughter who donated a kidney for her father. Now, Lalu Yadav, it is your responsibility to decide who is at fault.”*

As of now, the RJD has not issued any public response to Rohini Acharya’s post or the ensuing controversy.

Indore: 61 Booked For Rumours, Hate Posts On Instagram After Salman Lala’s Death

**Indore Crime Branch Books 61 Instagram Users for Posting Misleading Information Following Death of Criminal Salman Lala**

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The City Crime Branch on Friday booked 61 Instagram account users for posting misleading information after the death of criminal Salman Lala. Officials stated that these posts and reels could hurt the sentiments of various communities.

Following Lala’s death, some anti-social elements attempted to instigate hatred and animosity between communities by sharing provocative and misleading content through multiple Instagram IDs. Such actions have the potential to disturb public peace and adversely affect harmony among castes and communities, the police warned.

The Crime Branch team identified a total of 61 Instagram IDs involved in spreading this misleading information. Prima facie, the actions of these users have been found to violate sections 223, 196, 353 (1)(a), and 353 (1)(c) of the BNS. Consequently, a case has been registered against them, and further investigations are ongoing.

Additional DCP (Crime) Rajesh Dandotiya provided insight into Salman Lala’s death. Lala drowned in a pond in Sehore while attempting to escape from the Crime Branch a few days ago. The Crime Branch was actively searching for him due to his involvement in drug supply operations.

After tracing Lala’s location to an area between Bhopal and Dewas, the team reached the spot and pursued him. Lala managed to flee from the vehicle and later jumped into a pond in Sehore to avoid apprehension. His body was recovered from the pond the following day.

After his body was brought back to the city, thousands of people and Lala’s supporters gathered near his residence and at the BRTS stop near LIG Square.

To identify individuals spreading rumors on social media, SI Reena Rathore from the Social Media Monitoring Cell was tasked with collecting information about the users involved.

In response to the situation, the Commissioner of Police has issued prohibitory orders against posting misleading content, reels, and similar material on social media platforms.

The authorities urge the public to refrain from sharing unverified information and to maintain communal harmony during this sensitive time.
