Franco Colapinto Opens Up About Gabriel Bortoleto’s Crash at 2025 Brazil GP

The 2025 Brazil Grand Prix proved to be a challenging weekend for Gabriel Bortoleto. The home favorite faced a series of setbacks, including a crash in the sprint race, the inability to participate in qualifying, and another crash during the main race. As the dust settled, Alpine driver Franco Colapinto brought renewed attention to the incident, pointing fingers at Lance Stroll for causing Bortoleto’s crash in São Paulo.

Speaking to the media, Colapinto shared his perspective on the incident:
“Stroll is just always taking people out, just not looking in the mirrors, leaving no track, and he put Gabi in the wall. I overtook two cars—it was Lewis [Hamilton] and Colapinto on the outside of turn six,” Bortoleto had recalled earlier.

Colapinto elaborated on the collision:
“It was a nice move. Then Lance, I was just side by side with him out of turn nine. There’s no pointing fingers here. It was just lap one, and I was on the outside. He opened a little bit more than there was space. He clipped my front tyre, and I ended up in the wall.”

He added, “I think it’s a racing incident. Obviously, if he had given a bit more space, I would have taken the corner and probably overtaken him because he had worse tyres than I did—I was on softs. But again, it’s a racing incident. He didn’t do it on purpose, I’m sure. Every time I fight with him, he’s fair with me. So it’s just racing.”

On lap one, Bortoleto struggled to find grip and track position while attempting an outside overtaking maneuver. Lance Stroll blocked his path, leading to contact between Stroll’s left rear tyre and Bortoleto’s front tyre. This caused Bortoleto to lose control and crash into the barrier. Despite the severity of the incident, Colapinto emphasized that it was a racing incident rather than a deliberate collision.

Franco Colapinto Reflects on Securing 2026 Alpine Seat

Following the Brazil GP, Alpine confirmed that Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly will remain with the team for the 2026 season. This decision maintains the same driver lineup as the current year.

Colapinto expressed his gratitude and optimism for the future:

Bollywood actress Shehnaaz Gill expressed her admiration for veteran batter Virat Kohli, admitting that she went crazy when Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the IPL 2025 title. In the final, RCB defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Ahmedabad by six runs to claim their maiden championship.

During her appearance on the YouTube podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, released on Monday, November 11, Shehnaaz revealed her conflicted emotions. She said she had wanted Punjab Kings to win, as she belongs to that state, but found herself being partial to Kohli.

The 31-year-old shared,
“When RCB won, I went crazy. I went completely crazy. I mean, I’m from Punjab, but a little bit because of my connection with Virat Kohli. Otherwise, there was nothing else. I wanted Punjab to win anyway, but because of Virat Kohli, I had to be a little partial.”

“I like his style and the bonding he has with Anushka, which we get to see in the stadium too. His focus is always there. I think the connection between them is a really sweet, pure bond. In addition to Kohli, Shehnaaz mentioned that she also admires the attitude of India batter and Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer. She said,
“I also like him from Punjab Kings, Shreyas Iyer. He’s good too. I like his attitude.”

In the 2025 IPL edition, Shreyas Iyer became only the second Punjab Kings captain to lead the franchise to the IPL final, after George Bailey achieved the feat in the 2014 season.

Dak Prescott tries to put out fires after Jerry Jones’ controversial $100B gas bounty comments on fixing Cowboys’ defense

Dak Prescott has repeatedly come to the defense of Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones, and Thursday provided yet another example of his support.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Jones admitted that his priorities currently lie elsewhere, which has led to some neglect of the team’s roster. He stated, “There’s $100 billion present value with (natural) gas out there. That’s why I’m talking to you on the telephone rather than trying to fix our defense with the Dallas Cowboys.”

Unsurprisingly, this comment frustrated many fans. However, Prescott sought to clarify Jones’s intentions when asked about the remarks during practice ahead of Monday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. He said:

“I would just say the guy has never really lied about who he is or what he’s trying to do. Maybe in those five minutes is what he was alluding to, and having a chance at a $100 billion opportunity I think you might take five minutes as well to answer a call. Hopefully that’s what he means.”

Despite the distractions off the field, Prescott emphasized that the main focus remains on winning: “For us as players, we control what we can control. That doesn’t pertain to us right now.”

Twitch streamers Jodi “QuarterJade” and John “Masayoshi” have not broken up and are still together. During a Just Chatting livestream on October 27, 2025, QuarterJade disclosed that she and Masayoshi had taken a two-week break during their relationship.

At one point during the stream, her attention was drawn to a comment from Twitch user Holidayy95, which read:
“Does this mean he’s single now? Asking for me.”

In response, QuarterJade stated that she and Masayoshi “are very much together”:
“No, we are very much together, and we’re happy. Thank you, very much.”

She then responded to another live viewer’s question about “how to fix your partner” who “doesn’t know how to communicate in a fight.” The OfflineTV (OTV) member replied:
“Take a two-week break. Go to Vegas. And then by the end of the two weeks, maybe he’ll have an epiphany. That’s what happened to me. I’m really not sure. Like, I really don’t know. I don’t know. The thing is, you have to ask John because I’m not the one that changed in that specific regard. It took us having to take a break for him to be like, ‘Oh, my god! I am getting defensive. I am taking this personally. She is not coming at an attack. She’s just trying to, like, she’s expressing.’ And then we went to Vegas, and it was really awkward because, like, we’re in the same friend group. I guess at the time, he was just really sad.”

During the same livestream on October 27, 2025, QuarterJade explained the reasons behind the two-week break in their relationship. She shared that she often felt “really invalidated all the time” and said:

“John and I took a—I wanted to say, like, a two-week break, like, two years into our relationship. But I think there’s content out there about it. I really think that John has talked about it. Like, it feels like it’s something that John has to talk about because when I talk about it, I just think it makes, like, it doesn’t sound right coming out of my mouth. I guess. He’s talked about it before, and TL;DR: John was not hearing me out, or like understanding. I felt like I was really invalidated all the time in that, like, in that moment.”

QuarterJade added:
“We would do the really classic thing where we have a problem, we bring this problem up, but now we’re like running in circles, talking about, like, little things that don’t matter, I guess. Basically, it would be really hard because John would take it as a personal attack, but I’m like, ‘No, see, it’s not a you-thing. I’m trying to just tell you, like, there’s this thing that’s happening. It’s not a flaw in you. It’s just like we’re a team.’ Like, we’re just a team.”

The Nebraska Cornhuskers recently showcased their dominance by winning against the Northwestern University Wildcats with a clean 3-0 sweep. In the post-match press conference, Rebekah Allick and teammate Teraya Sigler discussed the cancer awareness campaign promoted by the Nebraska Volleyball team throughout the current season.

Allick echoed Sigler’s sentiments about raising awareness for cancer survivors who were present during the match. In her words,

“Wow, well said. Um, yeah. I feel like one thing that really resonated with me was when Bergen, right before our second set, she hit the nail on the head. I felt we could’ve played better in those first two [sets], and she goes, ‘Guys, we have cancer survivors in the crowd. Let’s give them a show.’ And I’m like, ‘That’s the freaking truth.’”

This victory marked the Nebraska Volleyball team’s 19th consecutive win. The Huskers are now preparing to face the Wisconsin Badgers on October 31 at the UW Field House in Madison, Wisconsin.

During the same press conference, Rebekah Allick shared insights about the team’s mindset and work ethic. Reflecting on advice from head coach Dani Busboom Kelly, Allick said,

“I don’t even know how to explain it. We’re just really freaking good. I’m going to say it. We’re just really freaking good. We have pushed ourselves since January. December 21st is playing in all of our heads. It has always been that John used to, and Dani like they are always thinking like ‘Every match is a National Championship’, and so when we go to practice, like we go in sixes.”

The game against Northwestern was also the 10th consecutive time the Cornhuskers didn’t lose a single set throughout a match, highlighting their consistency and dominance.

Team Morale and Practice Culture

Allick further opened up about the team morale during practice sessions, sharing,

“It feels like a Saturday Night match when we play sixes like we’re cheering on the ground, like tears are being shed. It can be really frustrating when you push yourself so hard all week and it doesn’t show for an hour and a half. It can be really frustrating as a competitor, but personally, as a senior, I couldn’t be more proud.”

Recently, the Nebraska Volleyball team also marked its 11th consecutive sweep by defeating the Michigan State Spartans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Twitch and YouTube star Rachell “Valkyrae” has responded to criticism accusing her of “playing games during a genocide” by revealing her plans to donate money to Gaza and other regions in need. She emphasized that people “can hate her all they want” but encouraged them to contribute to the causes as well.

During a livestream on October 23, 2025, before beginning to play *Digimon Story: Time Stranger*, Valkyrae’s attention was drawn to a viewer comment criticizing her. The viewer wrote: “Kinda horrible to be playing games during a genocide.”

In response, the co-owner of 100 Thieves shared her intention to make donations to Gaza, Congo, and another region or organization that requires monetary aid. She also encouraged others to donate alongside her, saying:
