Why the Official Trump Coin Is Up Today Amid Crypto Market Drop

**Why the Official Trump Co Token is Back in the Spotlight, Surging Nearly 10% Amid Crypto Market Drop**

The Official Trump Co token (TRUMP) recently jumped nearly 10% in a single day, trading around $7.53, defying the overall downward trend in the crypto market. This sudden surge highlights how politically themed tokens can capture investor attention when big buyers and technical factors align at the right moment. Here’s a closer look at what happened and why TRUMP is surging today.

### Whale Buying & Shrinking Exchange Balances

One major factor behind the price spike is a wave of whale accumulation. Large investors have been quietly increasing their TRUMP holdings over the past few weeks, climbing from 3.97 million to 4.88 million tokens. This steady accumulation often signals growing confidence that the token could trend higher in the near term.

At the same time, the number of TRUMP tokens held on exchanges has decreased. A shrinking supply on exchanges typically suggests stronger buyer conviction and a less ready supply for selling, which can contribute to upward price momentum.

### Boost from Trump Media and ETF Hopes

Investor excitement intensified after a division of the New York Stock Exchange filed to list a spot Bitcoin ETF linked to Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform. This connection between Trump Media and the crypto space has boosted optimism around Trump-related digital assets, including the TRUMP token.

Adding to this momentum, World Liberty Financial announced its USD1 stablecoin will integrate with the Enso blockchain, further strengthening the ecosystem connected to the TRUMP token.

### Trump Token Price Outlook

From a technical perspective, TRUMP has broken through key resistance levels, flipping short-term charts bullish. The price now hovers near the upper boundary of a falling wedge pattern—a technical structure that often signals a potential trend reversal.

If TRUMP holds above its current support level and breaks out decisively, analysts believe the token could rally toward $13 to $19 in the coming months, potentially turning today’s rebound into the start of a larger bullish phase.

Stay tuned for more updates on TRUMP and other trending crypto tokens as the market evolves.

Amnesty says US strike on a Yemen prison that killed dozens of African migrants may be a war crime

**Amnesty International Calls for Investigation into US Airstrike on Yemeni Prison That Killed Over 60 African Migrants**

*Dubai* — An American airstrike in April targeting a prison run by Yemen’s Houthi rebels that killed more than 60 detained African migrants should be investigated as a possible war crime, activists said Wednesday.

The call by Amnesty International renews scrutiny on the April 28 strike in Yemen’s Saada province. The attack was part of an intense campaign of airstrikes conducted under former U.S. President Donald Trump, targeting Houthi rebels for disrupting shipping through the Red Sea corridor amid the Israel-Hamas war.

The U.S. military’s Central Command has yet to provide an explanation for the strike on the prison, which had previously been hit by a Saudi-led coalition also fighting against the Houthis. The facility was known to hold detained African migrants attempting to reach Saudi Arabia through the war-torn region.

“We take all reports of civilian harm seriously and are working to release the assessment results for Operation Rough Rider soon,” said U.S. Navy Capt. Tim Hawkins, a spokesperson for Central Command.

### Dozens Killed in the Strike

Following the attack, the Houthis displayed debris likely from two 250-pound precision-guided GBU-39 small-diameter bombs used by the U.S. military, Amnesty International reported. Survivors interviewed by Amnesty — all Ethiopian migrants detained while trying to reach Saudi Arabia — said there were no Houthi fighters posted inside the building.

Amnesty assessed the strike as an “indiscriminate attack,” noting that there was no clear military objective. Under international law, striking sites such as hospitals and prisons is prohibited unless they are being used to plan attacks or store weapons, and even then, every precaution must be taken to avoid civilian casualties.

The Houthis recently revised their death toll from the strike to 61, down from an initial report of 68. Gunfire could be heard in footage taken after the airstrikes, with the Houthis stating that their guards fired warning shots around the time of the attack.

### History of Violence at the Prison Compound

The April strike brought to mind a similar attack by the Saudi-led coalition in 2022 on the same prison compound, which resulted in a collapse killing 66 detainees and injuring 113 others, according to a later United Nations report. After that attack, the Houthis reportedly shot dead 16 detainees who tried to escape and wounded another 50.

While the Houthis have denied any wrongdoing related to the April strike, Amnesty highlighted how the rebels’ ongoing crackdown on activists, journalists, human rights defenders, and humanitarian workers has limited efforts to investigate the situation thoroughly. The Houthis currently hold at least 59 United Nations staffers and numerous aid workers, having recently seized electronics from U.N. offices.

The Iranian-backed rebels, facing economic pressure, have also escalated threats against Saudi Arabia in recent weeks.

### Concerns Raised by Amnesty International

Kristine Beckerle, Amnesty’s deputy director for the Middle East and North Africa, expressed disbelief that the U.S. would carry out an airstrike on the same compound, resulting in high civilian casualties.

“I didn’t actually believe that it was possible that the U.S. would carry out an airstrike on the same compound, resulting in a significant level of civilian harm,” Beckerle said. “It kind of defies belief that the U.S. would not have known.”

### U.S. Airstrike Campaign and Civilian Casualties

The U.S. airstrikes against the Houthis began under President Joe Biden in response to rebel attacks on shipping but escalated sharply under Trump’s Operation Rough Rider, which targeted around 1,000 sites across Yemen. These strikes focused on power stations, mobile phone infrastructure, and military targets.

However, activists have reported civilian casualties, particularly in an April strike on an oil depot that killed more than 70 people.

Airwars, a U.K.-based organization that monitors casualties in aerial warfare, estimates that Operation Rough Rider’s strikes caused at least 224 civilian deaths during the campaign — nearly as many as the total civilian casualties over more than 20 years of U.S. strikes in Yemen.

U.S. Army Gen. Michael Kurilla, former commander of CENTCOM, committed during congressional testimony in June to publicly releasing details on civilian casualties in Yemen, but this information has yet to be shared.

### The Human Cost

“One of the things that was relatively devastating is again you’re talking about people who left Ethiopia to travel to Yemen because they’re trying to get to the Gulf” to earn money for their families back home, Beckerle said. “They have to have their family send money to them in Yemen to deal with the effects of the injury.”

*This development raises serious questions about the conduct of air operations in Yemen and the protection of civilians caught in the conflict. Amnesty International’s call for a thorough and independent investigation highlights the urgent need for accountability and transparency.*

Self-professed ‘Jew hater’ learns fate for slew of assaults at NYC Israel-Gaza protests: ‘I’m sorry, guys’

A self-professed “Jew hater” responsible for a string of assaults at Israel-Gaza protests in Manhattan expressed a brief apology as he learned his fate Tuesday. However, at least one of his victims was unmoved by the remorse.

Tarek Bazrouk, 20, was sentenced to 17 months in prison after pleading guilty to federal hate crime charges for kicking and punching Jewish people at three demonstrations, the most recent occurring in January.

“I’m sorry, guys, and I hope that you forgive me for my actions,” Bazrouk said, turning around at the defense table to face two of his victims in Manhattan federal court. “I promise you, judge, that if you give me a chance you will not be disappointed,” added Bazrouk, a Manhattan native whose family is Palestinian, during a statement that lasted about a minute.

The brief apology did not impress one of his victims, Roman Efraimov, who was wearing an Israeli flag draped over his shoulders and a Star of David chain around his neck when Bazrouk punched him in the nose at a protest on 18th Street and First Avenue earlier this year, according to federal officials.

“I don’t believe that he has remorse or knows the seriousness of the crime,” Efraimov told Judge Richard Berman, adding that Bazrouk “smirked” at him while issuing his statement. “He turned around twice and smirked. I don’t feel it in my gut,” Efraimov said in court.

Judge Berman handed down a sentence below prosecutors’ recommendation of at least three years behind bars but above the 12 months suggested by the probation department.

“People who assault Jews, or people of any other ethnicity or faith at protests because of their identity, are very likely to go to jail,” Berman said from the bench. “It works the opposite way as well. The rules that are applied in this case do not apply to Jews or Palestinians alone. They apply to everybody.”

On April 15, 2024, Bazrouk, wearing a green headband typically worn by Hamas members, kicked another kippah-wearing Jew, Elisha Baker, in the chest as he stood with an Israeli flag and sang a Jewish song near the New York Stock Exchange, according to federal authorities.

Baker addressed the court, saying, “My experiences as a Jew in America have been altered forever because of the actions of this man.”

“When I looked in his eyes, I saw someone who sought to hurt me and cause me pain just because of who I am,” Baker added.

Bazrouk also punched a kippah-wearing Columbia University student in the face during a separate protest on December 9, 2024, after stealing an Israeli flag from the student’s brother, prosecutors said.

The federal prosecutors pushed for a harsh sentence, citing Bazrouk’s “repeated, premeditated assaults on Jewish individuals based on their ethnicity and religion” and the “ongoing danger he poses to Jews.”

They also highlighted Bazrouk’s “deeply seeded anti-Jewish animus,” revealed by text messages, including a May 2024 message to a friend stating, “I’m a Jew hater,” accompanied by a crying laughing emoji.

Additionally, prosecutors alleged Bazrouk was a member of a chat group that received “regular updates” from Abu Obeida, spokesperson for Hamas’ deadly al-Qassam Brigades militant group.

Bazrouk’s attorney, public defender Andrew Dalack, argued unsuccessfully for the judge to release his client from jail—where he has been held since his May arrest—and allow him to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest.

Dalack maintained that Bazrouk was remorseful and “has continued to grapple with how those terrible decisions not only affected him but his family and his community.”

Dalack also revealed in court filings that Bazrouk’s cousin was “killed by Israeli settlers” in May 2008, “even though he was not participating in any hostilities.”

Bazrouk pleaded guilty in June, just one month after his arrest, and appeared to express contrition in a letter sent to the court.

“I don’t want to see more attacks on Israel like the one committed by Hamas on October 7. I don’t want to see any more people in Gaza die of starvation or from bombings,” Bazrouk wrote.

“What I know now that I wish I knew a year ago is this: I’m certain that punching and kicking Jewish or Israeli people won’t solve anything. It won’t make me feel better. It won’t take away the pain and suffering of Palestinians. And it certainly won’t help bring Palestinians and Israelis closer together.”

As Judge Berman announced the 17-month sentence, Bazrouk, dressed in a tan jail-issued jumpsuit, turned to face his relatives in the courthouse gallery, including his older sister, who began silently weeping.

Following the hearing, Efraimov told The Post he considered the sentence “fair,” while Baker said, “I feel safer now that I know my attacker will not be roaming the streets for a considerable amount of time.”

“The message that the judge sent today was that if you target and assault Jews simply because they are Jewish, you will be held accountable,” Baker added.

Before the sentence was handed down, Bazrouk’s sister, Anwar Bazrouk, addressed the court.

“I want to emphasize that me and my family strongly condemn violence in all forms,” she said. “We are all committed to making sure that nothing like this happens again.”

Anwar also expressed confusion over her brother’s hateful text messages uncovered during the investigation.

“I ask myself about the text messages, I ask myself where he learned to say those things about Jewish people,” she said. “We come from a humble family that never taught him to say those things.”

Mountain View barber, an HIV positive man accused of sexually assaulting 60 men, appears in court

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) — An international effort has led to the arrest of a wanted Mountain View man, Franklin Enrique Sarceño Orla, 35, who appeared in court on Monday.

Sarceño Orla is accused of assaulting at least 19 men, with the number of victims potentially as high as 60, in incidents dating back to 2018. He made his first court appearance in a Santa Clara County courtroom, where he faces charges that could lead to life in prison.

Mountain View Police Department Detective Lauren Riffel, the lead investigator on the case, revealed that Sarceño Orla allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted multiple men while working as a barber.

“When you have more than one, that’s crazy enough,” Det. Riffel said. “When you have more than 5, 10, going all the way up to over 60 people — talking to 60 humans that were victimized in a certain population — it’s terrible to have to hear these stories over and over again.”

Sarceño Orla had fled the country to Guatemala but was recently brought back to the United States for his court appearance. District Attorney Jeff Rosen explained that Sarceño Orla skipped court after posting bail following his arrest for his first alleged rape last fall.

Court documents detail a troubling series of crimes dating back to 2018. Victims reported losing consciousness after sharing drinks with Sarceño Orla, then waking up injured in his home. Some of the victims were clients at his home barber shop in Mountain View, while others were men he met in local nightclubs.

Additionally, DA Rosen confirmed that enhancements have been added to the charges because Sarceño Orla is HIV positive.

“Once this individual fled the country, we made sure that we did everything we could to bring him back,” Rosen said. “We don’t forget.”

Mountain View Police Chief Michael Canfield praised the survivors who came forward, helping to bring this case to justice.

“In my career of almost 27 years, I have never seen a case like this with this scope, with his breadth of impact on our community,” Chief Canfield said. “With this arrest, our community is safer and our victims know that there is justice that they can seek.”

Sarceño Orla remains in custody after a judge ruled no bail will be allowed. He is scheduled to return to court for his next appearance in January.

Psyops On The Sunday Shows!

Part of keeping up with the news—and then watching the Sunday shows—is that you start to see the propaganda code embedded in our political matrix. Follow us as we do our best impersonation of Lawrence Fishburne’s Morpheus and “show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.” This week, at least.

### Scott Bessent

We’ve already covered some of the most ridiculously idiotic things Bessent said on ABC’s *This Week* [here](#), so we’re going to focus on his other two Sunday show appearances.

On NBC’s *Meet The Press*, host Kristen Welker pressed Bessent on the new 10 percent tariffs Donald Trump announced this week. The tariffs followed Ontario airing an ad featuring real 1987 footage of Ronald Reagan explaining why tariffs are bad—a move that apparently hurt Trump’s feelings.

Bessent’s defense was neither compelling nor especially sensible.

**BESSENT:** “Well, Kristen, let’s—let’s think about this. This is a kind of propaganda against U.S. citizens. You know, it’s psyops.”

Is it, though? Because if playing footage of and quoting Republicans being hypocritical liars counts as “psyops,” this very weekly rundown would qualify as an MKUltra program.

Welker also asked Bessent for details on whether these new Canadian tariffs would apply to all goods or only select items, but he did not know.

Welker then launched some “psyops” of her own by playing a clip of Trump promising to bring the price of groceries “way down.” After listing several items like coffee, beef, and bacon whose prices are actually rising, Bessent got a bit defensive and tried to shift the goalposts.

**BESSENT:** “Kristen, it’s unfortunate—as much as I like you—you like to cherrypick. You know, when we came in, it was ‘egg-flation, egg-flation, egg-flation.’ You know, egg prices are down.”

Bessent took a similar tone with a similar question on CBS’s *Face The Nation* when host Margaret Brennan pressed him. He tried the classic spouse’s tactic when losing an argument:

**BESSENT:** “You listed the things that are up, but we’re seeing plenty of things that are down. Why does everyone always point out the things they suck at instead of the things they’re so great at, Margaret?”

Back on *Meet The Press*, before the interview ended, Bessent was asked about the destruction of the East Wing of the White House to make way for Trump’s gaudy ballroom. Welker played a clip of Trump promising that they would not touch the original White House structure, then asked why Trump didn’t tell the public his real intentions.

While Bessent recycled the usual talking points and false equivalences we’ve all heard about previous White House renovations, he added a new one we had to note.

**BESSENT:** “Well, again, I think this was a judgment call on the president. The president is a master builder. And I don’t know. I assume that maybe parts of the East Wing could have been asbestos, could have been mold, could have not fit with the design.”

A MASTER BUILDER! Here is a video of Trump loving asbestos—while you catch your breath laughing at the suggestion that he is a MASTER BUILDER.

### Arnold Schwarzenegger

Former California Republican governor and aging Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on CNN’s *State of the Union* to criticize California’s redistricting effort.

Current California Governor Gavin Newsom is leading an effort to redraw the state’s congressional maps after Texas redrew its maps to steal five Democratic House seats, giving Trump and the GOP even more power.

While Schwarzenegger’s reasoning sounds fair, it strikes us as a bit Pollyanna-ish.

**SCHWARZENEGGER:**
“Texas started it. They did something terribly wrong. And then, all of a sudden, California says, well, then we have to do something terribly wrong. And then now other states are jumping in. And now this is spreading like wildfire all over the country. […] The thing is that you cannot cheat your way out of it. What they should do is, what the Democrats should do is, they should outperform Trump.”

The problem with that, Governator, is that in many places it’s already rigged against Democrats, so that even when Democrats turn out more voters, Republicans still manage to gain seats!

Democrats have tried to pass voting rights and national fair redistricting laws, but you cannot get there if we are fighting with our fists while the GOP uses laser blasters.

If anyone should understand the need to improvise to defeat a stronger and more ruthless enemy, it should be the guy who took down a Predator.

### Margaret Brennan

Speaking of gerrymandering, we conclude with Margaret Brennan on CBS’s *Face The Nation*, particularly the end of her interview with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

When Jeffries brought up the topic of gerrymandering and election denial, Brennan’s attempt to “both sides” the issue sounded less like CBS News and more like OAN.

**BRENNAN:**
“You said Democrats ‘there are no election deniers on our side of the aisle.’ You said that back in January. But recently you’ve been using the term ‘rigged elections’ in reference to the upcoming midterms. Democrats were appalled when President Trump used language like that. How do you justify using that now? Doesn’t that undermine faith for voters you need to show up?”

Ahem, no. Because voters can understand the difference between denying the results of a fair election and the GOP’s effort to change the rules to cheat and steal elections.

This “both sides” argument would be laughable if made by a terrible op-ed writer or some journalistically bankrupt outlet. Guess we didn’t have to wait long for the “Bari Weiss Effect” to be noticed at CBS News.

Have a week. Share. I’m also HERE.

Trump issues chilling warning to Putin after Russia tests new ‘invincible’ nuclear missile

President Trump issued a chilling warning to Vladimir Putin on Monday after the Russian leader boasted about testing his country’s new “invincible” nuclear missile.

“They know we have a nuclear submarine, the greatest in the world, right off their shore,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One as he prepared to travel to Japan.

His remarks came after Putin on Sunday hailed an 8,700-mile, 15-hour test flight for Russia’s “unique” nuclear-powered missile, dubbed a “flying Chernobyl.” Russia claims this weapon could strike targets in the United States.

“They’re not playing games with us. We’re not playing games with them either,” President Trump continued, before reiterating his demand that Putin end the war in Ukraine.

“I don’t think it’s an appropriate thing for Putin to be saying. By the way, he ought to get the war ended. A war that should have taken one week is now in its, soon, fourth year. That’s what he ought to do instead of testing missiles,” Trump added.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has increased his calls for the US to supply his country with long-range missiles to pressure Putin into making peace.

Zelensky praised President Trump’s latest sanctions on Russia, saying they “will make a difference,” but warned that more pressure is needed to bring an end to the conflict raging since February 2022.

“President Trump is concerned about escalation. But I think that if there are no negotiations, there will be an escalation anyway. I think that if Putin doesn’t stop, we need something to stop him. Sanctions is one such weapon, but we also need long-range missiles,” President Zelensky told Axios on Sunday.
