Tamaki also noted that while many of his party’s basic policies align with those of Takaichi and the LDP, trust had been undermined in the past, referencing broken promises during the Ishiba administration.
Talks among the three opposition leaders lasted about an hour and are expected to continue next week. Meanwhile, attention is now turning to a scheduled meeting between Takaichi and Japan Innovation Party leader Yoshimura in the evening, as speculation grows over whether the two parties might discuss a potential coalition.

> “I’ve known Mr. Yoshida for a very long time. I have a great deal of respect for his creativity and commitment to game development as a producer. We were finally able to work together for the first time during the Monster Hunter World x Final Fantasy 14 collaboration. It was really a casual approach we made to one another, asking if there was anything we could do together with respect to our games.”
He recalled that at Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany, a dinner with Yoshida and his team casually steered towards revisiting the fun they had in the previous collaboration.
> “Monster Hunter Wilds wasn’t out at the time—we were showing it off at Gamescom, so it was kind of on our minds. We didn’t decide then and there, but we agreed to have more productive discussions about working together again. Ultimately, that led up to Tokyo Game Show 2024, where I finally managed to catch up with him in Tokyo, and we set it in stone that we’d be working on something together.”
Naoki Yoshida shared his perspective on the partnership:
> “Working with Capcom’s Monster Hunter team was a no-brainer, even back in 2018. They supported us from the very beginning when I took over Final Fantasy 14 and began steering it toward success between 2010 and 2013 during the launch of A Realm Reborn.”
Yoshida praised the Monster Hunter team for their unwavering support:
> “When I first took on Final Fantasy 14’s remake and rebuilding, [Tsujimoto] came to me and said, ‘Why are you taking on such a crazy plan? This seems like so much to take on, but if there’s anything we can do to help from our team, we would love to help you. Whether the game is a success or not, we want to work with you in the future.’ The reason Final Fantasy 14 is here is because of that support.”

**Bombay High Court Quashes FIRs Filed by Rakhi Sawant and Adil Durrani**

In a significant development, the Bombay High Court on Wednesday quashed the First Information Reports (FIRs) filed by Bollywood actor Rakhi Sawant and her estranged husband, businessman Adil Durrani. The FIRs were lodged by the couple against each other amid their ongoing marital discord.
Both parties had initiated legal action following their separation, with Sawant accusing Durrani of criminal intimidation, harassment, and unnatural sex. On the other hand, Durrani had filed an FIR against Sawant at the Amboli police station concerning an obscene video allegedly shared with friends.
During the court proceedings, Sawant was present and expressed no objection to the quashing of the FIRs. The bench comprising Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Sandesh Patil emphasized that since the couple had settled their disputes, there was no reason for the FIRs to remain in effect.
The court also highlighted an important undertaking given by both parties, stating, “Needless to say that both parties are to abide by the undertaking given by them.” This undertaking requires that the former couple refrain from speaking out against each other or discussing the matter publicly.
Rakhi Sawant and Adil Durrani were married under Islamic laws in 2022. Their marital troubles came to light in 2023 when they announced their separation and subsequently filed FIRs against each other.
With the FIRs now quashed, the ex-couple is expected to initiate divorce proceedings shortly.

象印マホービンは15日、大阪・関西万博の会場内に設置した全自動型の「マイボトル洗浄機」が、総使用回数15万8,488回を達成したと発表しました。
会場内には10カ所にこの洗浄機が設置されており、来場者が手持ちの水筒を繰り返し使うことで、プラスチックごみの削減に貢献しています。
今回の取り組みにより、CO2排出量は12トン削減される見込みです。

Security camera footage from the early morning hours reveals a tense confrontation between a store clerk and a man dressed entirely in black near the entrance of the store. The video shows the clerk raising his arm while keeping a safe distance from the suspect, who appears to be holding a knife-like object.
According to police reports, the man entered the store around 3 a.m. Without saying a word, he pointed what looked like a kitchen knife at the male clerk and demanded money. The clerk responded by shouting loudly, which startled the suspect and caused him to flee the scene without taking any cash.
At the time of the incident, the store was empty except for the clerk, who was unharmed. This attempted robbery has raised safety concerns among residents in the surrounding neighborhood.
One local resident shared their worries: “There aren’t many streetlights in the area, so we’ve installed security cameras ourselves, fearing something like this might happen one day.”
The suspect escaped on a motorcycle and remains at large. Police are currently reviewing security camera footage and continuing their search for the individual. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
